The short piece of track at Cache Lake was relaid around 2008. The rail stamped OA&PS was stored elsewhere in the park. I was part of a group from the Huntsville & Lake of Bays Railway that came out to look at what rail they had in the park., and give some advice on re-laying the track. There was only one rail of that size. Muskoka Heritage Place donated the other rail, as it was a close enough match. When I first saw the site, trees covered the rail line, but these were removed for the exhibit.
