- Marshall SV20C - The Studio Vintage Combo
A Plexi in a combo? That's an interesting prospect. This Marhsall valve (or tube) amp is 20 watts of power, and while definitely not affordable, it's not crazy expensive either. It has a speaker out, but what really interests me is how it sounds as just a combo. It could really be a nice thing to have, so you don't have to carry around those heads and cabs. Just get the Studio Vintage combo, and have that Plexi sound without breaking your back.
Hope you enjoy!

@elmo you’re the most honest gear reviewer and I really appreciate you taking the effort and time to do this. I trust your opinion and enjoy your sense of humour. Please keep going! Thanks
🤘 this little beast takes your input super well. What a tone ... man. As I said before, we now need a stadium full of people a rockin' good time. I think after this Cov season, live events will be HUGE again.
Thanks for this Elmo. Another good thing about this modern combo is that the chassis fascia is facing you so when you look at it you can read it and it's not 'upside down' as with the vintage reissues eg the 1974X. It makes all the difference.....lol
Sounds fantastic! Thanks for the honest reviews. Keep up the great work!
Wow! I'm impressed. That thing
Sounds killer! So, this is what a boutique amp looks like. Hey Elmo, great playing as always. Thanks bro!
Every time I view this Chanel he keeps getting better and better great amp. Great guitar
Wonderful amp! Right now in love with my Harley Benton Tube 15, but next amp could be this one. The SV20H version is the best I´ve tried so far 😍
I have the Origin 20C and I love how it is at low practice volume but I love the SV20H with 2 x 12 cabs even more, even at low practice volume.
Wow over a hundred comments Elmo ! Gathering pace slowly but surely and very well deserved too. No matter how hard I try I always try and dial in to the old school Marshall sound. You can take the boy out of the 60's/70's but you can't take the Marshall out of the boy lol.
It's so cute and rocking 😍 i was worried it would be too wimpy due to small cab. Added bonus for viewers; maybe a db meter displayed in the room? You rock Elmo 🤘😉
Thanks Elmo. From the many reviews on YT, I like yours the most. Now to check the combo review as need to decide whether to keep my mini Jubilee Combo or get one of those.
Sounds like a Marshall should, even with the internal speaker.
Wow, that sounded great. That amp although I've obviously heard of them was never on my purchase radar until now
F*ck, each and every time i'm mesmerized by your playing, that Malmsteen then Van Halen stuff and what came afterwards was insane
Thanks for yet another awesome video Elmo!!!!
I have just got one of these , sounds very very bright with my tele
Thanks for doing this. That 10" speakers sound better than expected.
