Hi Matty, thanks for the great content on your channel. Do you know how I'd be able to distinguish where Unallocated State Land is on the Trilobite app? I'm based in QLD and have been reading and watching videos but it's very hard to find the info. I want to do everything properly. I haven't been able to start this new fun hobby yet until I learn how to find where I can prospect. Thanks in advance. Joe

Hi Joe, I’m not familiar with QLD rules and regulations, however I’m sure the QLD government have a website dedicated to this and areas you can fossick in. Best to use Google and do some research mate. It’s the only way to find out for yourself. Best of luck.

I am just wondering if you are familiar with which layers in the app represent unallocated land or how to find that? I thought you may know since you made a video about how useful the app is. @JoeTaranto, every state and territory is different. It all depends on what the titles in QLD are called. It is a great app, but don’t rely on it solely as it can sometimes be a little delayed in updating. A quick google search says to use GeoResGlobe from a laptop.
