I live in a studio apartment in a house that's also 130 years old. It's on the second floor and my entire floor is slanted! I have to prop all my furniture up on one side! 😂

Thank you for the comments! We both have transparent and non-transparent glass. The choice of glass depends on the location within the room. Usually, for the living room, we use transparent ones. I'm not sure of the reason, but perhaps in Nagasaki's hilly terrain, where houses are densely packed and the outside of houses often faces directly onto the street, non-transparent glass is commonly used, maybe?

When I was a university student, I visited Nagasaki as part of a club activity. During that visit, I studied Nagasaki's history and culture, and since then, I have become a huge fan of Nagasaki. I have always wanted to live in Nagasaki someday and deeply learn about the history and cultural context of this place. When I reached my late twenties and started to feel exhausted from my life in Tokyo, I decided to move to Nagasaki. After moving to Nagasaki, I do feel the charm of its history and culture, but even more than that, I find everyday life very interesting, especially since I live in the sloping areas of Nagasaki. The daily life in these sloping areas is incredibly fascinating, and now I am enjoying my life here☺️

I would love to retire there but unfortunately if i stayed there i lose my British Columbia medical plan .. to keep it i would have to live 6 month intervals...but then again our medical plan isn't what it used to be....we are lacking Doctors here.....
