Same here...I am so frustrated watching Hani chasing Seung Jo despite him hurting her all the time and being ignorant of her feelings although I love the movie and the characters.Same with her friends,I understand that they are just worried but confronting seung jo because of hani's feeling is getting overboard.They should atleast take that oppurtunity where Hani is avoiding Seung Jo to let her move on.Seung Jo won't realize the importance and existence of Hani in his life if Hani is always chasing him.
His mother did a lot to get o Hani on his bad list because she wanted to control every aspect of his life.She wanted him to be with O Hani more than he wanted to be with her.Whenever there was family time,he was always in the books with his headphones on.His mom knew something was wrong with him.His mother seemed to be a little touched also.They had the same personality,to be in control.Take for instance when she wouldn't come to get O Hani after the rain storm and she was stranded at his apartment.He showed great restraints because he is a nineteen year old,very handsome young man who could have easily taken advantage of her.He told her that if she was thinking anything was going to happen,that it wasn't and he knew that she wanted the experience of being intimate with him.He wanted her because all he ever did was kiss her.I must say that I liked how he treated her than and he did let her know that it wasn't him not finding her appealing,just that he was not going to let his mother win whatever game that she was playing.

He doesn't really hate his mom.He is just confused and let's be honest,although his mother is what every woman would want as a mother in law but because she wanted a daughter so badly,she dressed him as a girl and that had to have been a shock to him and the other kids when he exposed himself at the pool.I really feel sorry for him.He is really a lonely kid.

He is a red flag for most of the series regardless of this diary, the way he despises her many times is not justified by any diary, and whenever he feels she is tired and gives up on him, he plays with her, getting closer or even kissing her, just to start ignoring her again... That has a name, and not a good one... . And why on earth he keeps saying, even in the diary, that she is not beautiful and doesn't have a great body. That girl is objectively beautiful for God sake, tired of this guy saying that she is not beautiful... Just one example of many... When he left her eating alone in the restaurant table to go to his friends, so disrespectful... no girl should tolerate be treated like this girl in this series
If baek sung's mum was less involved in her son's personal life and gave him some space,he'd might have been more open to his feelings towards Hani!:) ashh! lool

Recommendation It started with a kiss another series that gave a more well rounded picture. Don't get me wrong love love Playful kiss but after watching some of the other remakes the series it's self is lacking. We do eventually get the diary and life after the honeymoon. I wish someone could combine all 3 parts
