- Decided to do a walk around and slight demo of DD Titan. Didn't want to go full tilt because I've already had to replace 1 windshield, 1 mirror and 1 head unit to the tune of $2K. Replacement parts are hard to come-by in Japan.
This is why i love custom audio, seeing how its brought together, seeing the pride and enjoyment of the build from all, including the owner, nice build, thanks for the video
I totally agree. I absolutely love custom audio no matter how big or small.... I really appreciate it.
@@big_mon1 yup,I'm currently working on my own 2 builds myself,I live doing it all myself, what I can do that is 🤷🏼♂️😂
same here. I've always loved building things from start to finish. There's just something so satisfying about being able to look at something and say, "I built that." Especially when it brings others just as much joy as it brings you.
@@big_mon1 fact's 💪
I got a junkyard Chevy avalanche with 2500 I'm building a wall/enclosure where the midgate is and I've totally redone the entire truck, rebuilt transmission and upgraded its internals, new gears,22's with truck tires that equivalent to 33's body working the hell out of it,and just got a 1st gen Durango and plan on doing mad work to it as well....I'm really thinking about doing a bandpass style box in it but trying to decide is killing my brain,I built a Kia Sportage and it blew people's minds at events and redlights...I had that mofo banging,I'ma have to post some videos 🤷🏼♂️💪❤️
@@darrelsmith4549 wow, that's amazing. I would love to see the vids.
Absolutely gorgeous build man!👏
Thanks bro. I really appreciate it.
HELLO
Sweet build man! Def gives motivation. I got a 2012 suburban in the works right now. Wont be able c pillar till next year but im gonna get highs, mids, electrical and deadning up to par next month! Im gonna start off with 2 or 3 15s then hopefully move up next year. Thanks fors for sharing your ride!
Thanks bro. I really appreciate it... You're doing it the right way get all of the small stuff out of the way first, start with a smaller build and gradually go bigger.
@@big_mon1 Where did you find the rotating speaker poles and connectors ?
Nastiest build ever simply just that . I can hear thru the phone how tite its hittin . Whis is very rare
I appreciate it 🙏🏾
haha ur smile when the bass is vibrating ur shirt and everything in ur truck is priceless man haha I'm dying lol
Lol, glad you enjoyed the video. I'm a basshead to the heart. It's truly therapy for me and always brings a smile to my face 🤣🤣
So sweet, dam big brother that was niceeeeeeee and right........The video will never do it justice, you must here it in real life to appreciate something like that build....All I have to say is NICE.........
I really appreciate it
Very nice build, super clean all the way around,
Thank you. I really appreciate it.
Sick build. I have so many questions about what its like being an outsider with a loud system in Japan, but i don't wanna be that dude asking 70 questions on UA-cam. I'll just imagine it as being a very unique experience for now. Ill try to watch some of your other videos to see what I can learn from your experience. Best wishes to you, and thank you for your service. Definitely very unique and clean.
Thanks bro. Ask away or you could always hit me up on IG @big_mon1... It's pretty cool being the outsider. Everyone knows who I am and I always get personal invites to shows
Currently installing my DD Audio equipment into a 06 gmc. It’s not a spl build, but should still get down with 2000 watts to 4 8’s and 2000 watts split between 4 mid bass, 4 mid range, and 2 tweets. All running off the dd audio dsi 3. I do need more outputs from the sound processor so I guess the mid bass drivers are going to be running off analog crossovers but it’ll do the trick.
That's going to be a really nice setup. I have two DD 2508 (SC) in a 4th order on a DM1500 in my daily micro van and they pound. I can only imagine how four 8s will sound
Fue is a beast! Nice switch panels man
Thank you and yes, Fu definitely is a beast
You have such a beautiful build man!
Thanks bro. I really appreciate it
Look at this old ass fox still bumping bass beats i like my man i like, im with you bro. Respekt.
Maaaan dats one hell of a build I love it💯💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks bro. I appreciate it
Nice truck and build .
But from what I can hear over the phone that enclosure making a bad noise..but def a nice dd audio build.
I'm over here in the US maryland..we do it big over here too .
I appreciate it... Thanks for leaving a comment...That's actually just the way it sounds through the GoPro mic. It doesn't pick up the true sound that well
I’m from Baltimore Maryland myself sparrows point area …
@@SammyKurts-ku2ht silver spring area . You might have already seen or heard my truck already
Love the vehicle, extremely clean and well put together, keep on bassing brother 🔊🔊🔊🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪 you gained a subcribe from me
Thanks brother. I appreciate it.
all DD with dedicated tweeter amps? Already knew man! ✌️
You know it
@big_mon1 so many people Don't know.... I've owned countless brands(Rockford, JL, USAmps.. other top brands)
DD does not mess around, LOUDEST and Best sounding.. over ALL old and new competitor brands. Truly speakers that make you say "damn those sound good"
@@willh3494DD is ALL I run with when it comes to amps and subs. Can't go wrong. PRV AUDIO for all my mids and highs.
Fact not fiction.... clean power !
That thing look like it would be nasty turnt all the way up. Look like it punch hard too. And you got 4 seats... that's respectful build.
Thank you bro. It's got a really good bandwidth. Plays 20hz - 65hz. 53 is the sweet spot. I no longer turn it up because it's hard to get windshields here in Japan and they're triple the price that they are in the states
@big_mon1 That's a real good frequency range. I'd also be concerned to turn it up too if I was in your position. I'm content with my two custom 9510...that's the most I could fit in my f450and it's probably for the best. BTW, what's the cost of getting your suv shipped over there? My wife wants to visit Japan for 3 months and It would be dope to bring my truck with us.
@@PunisherOfDeath101 @PunisherOfDeath101 the plan was to build a demo vehicle to represent DD Audio here for brand recognition as a DD Audio brand ambassador and only authorized dealer in Japan. That's why I went with a C-pillar. As far as shipping a vehicle here, I'm not sure what the cost would be. I actually purchased my suburban here from a Japanese businessman who imported it in 2001. It had less than 70 original miles on it. I'm the 2nd owner. I know the process for shipping vehicles here is a major pain due to Japanese emission and safety restrictions. Had an American friend ship his Z06 here, took over 1 year to complete the entry process. I wouldn't advise anyone to try shipping a vehicle here unless the physically live here with no intentions of leaving.
@big_mon1 the more you know 😅. I'll be flying as a tourist and renting a viechel since the process of shipping might be a pain. Good luck with your endeavors. The dd audio reputation is impeccable.
@PunisherOfDeath101 thank you bro. I appreciate it. Before you fly over, make sure that you get an international license or you won't be able to drive here in Japan
truck looks good man i like it
Thanks bro. I appreciate it.
didnt know japan does car audio lol how did you get your tahoe imported there? i assume youre ex military
Japan is more into SQL the SPL but yeah, there's a pretty nice scene here. ... I am retired military however I actually purchased me Suburban here. The original owner imported it in 02. I'm the second owner. It only had 68K miles on it and was completely stock.
Super Clean ! Thank you!
Thank you. I appreciate it 🙏🏽
Thank you for your service 🤘🏻🇺🇸
Salute. I appreciate you 🙏🏽
Hope you choose our service next time!!
Of course I will once the car park is complete.
lol I was trying to get a demo with you on mcas iwakuni... I always used to spy on your truck across medical
Damn, are you still here?
@big_mon1 nah I transferred last year and never knew who you were or how to get in contact with you. But you're reppin bass heads right in Japan! they don't do low frequencies like we do in the states
@@seancat9550 wish I would have linked up with you while you were here. I definitely would have given you a demo. There are very few bassheads here. I'm trying to do what I can for the culture 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊
You still dirty taking your truck somewhere else to get washed 😂
Lmmfao, but it needed a wash 🤣🤣🤣. I ended up confessing to Fu anyway 🤣🤣🤣
Are in the Military, is that why you in Japan beating down them streets with the WHOP 🤔
Retired military
I was going to say not with that beard
@steelervette 🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you ever come to Northern California I would love to give you a demo. Nothing special, just 156.5 dbs at 33hz. And 155 dB on music runs.4, 18s on 32k watts in a 4th.
If I make it to NorCal, I will definitely take you up on that. I love getting demos. No matter how big or small.
It happen to me too
Truck nice asf
I appreciate it
NEW SUBSCRIBER💯
I appreciate you 🥾💪🏾✊🏾
Dope video
Thanks bro. I appreciate it
Where did you get those rear speakers' pods in the rear hatch thanks in advance nice build #CUSTARD310
We custom made them at our shop.
@big_mon1 oh OK 👍🏿 not bad great way to save space 😀 love the build by the way are u guys on Facebook or IG
@@custard3102 I am but the shop isn't. We're working on that now. Most of my videos are targeted towards the shop.
Whats the name and artist of that track
The artist name is Buddy. The song is Black
No full tilt???
No, I didn't want to break anything. The last time I went full tilt, I cracked my windshield. I also had a show coming up so I didn't want to blow anything and not be able to make it.
Bro, I want to live in japan so bad! How do I get there besides military?
There are plenty of people that move here that have no affiliation with the military. Most find jobs on this site. jobs.gaijinpot.com/index/index/lang/en
🔥
💪😁🤘
I appreciate it
Dont forget to name the amps u didnt say the name of the 4ch amps u just named the big amps zvl
1 SS4Bs on each door, 1 D4.100 on the door tweets and center console, 1 D4.100 on the 4 tweets in the rear boot, 1 SS4B on the 6 voice speakers in the rear boot and 1 SS4B on the 2 tower speakers under the truck. 6 amps on the mids and highs, 4 on the subs. A total of 10 amps
Bad bad bad😂
That is on badd ass system....that mirror has no purpose!!
I appreciate it.... It's actually a cam mirror. The camera is mounted on my rear bumper. It allows me to see like a regular rearview mirror.
On UA-cam all demo sounds like s---
@@waltergoodman321 exactly. I wish I could truly capture what it sounds like
Thats straight up flexin at its finest! 💯💪🦾💪🦾💪 as they say go big or go home, you nailed it brother
