i was just going back to listen to that ribbit tribute when i got curious about your other songs, and what the heck this is cool!! it reminds me of the way megami tensei 2's RPG combat works. it has this ominous ENCOUNTER-like theme play when you first see the enemy. it makes it feel like a really tense standoff, a scene frozen in time that is only unbroken by whatever decision you make next. but as soon as either you or the enemy choose to fight, the "COMBAT LOOP" kicks in, breaking the tension into a full frantic battle. the progression of this song really reminds me of that, even though i don't know if astrovellius is really an RPG or not... either way, hopefully i can see this game come to fruition sometime!

The idea is that within a certain radius of a big threat, "LOOMING" would start looping, and once it has it's sights on you, "ENCOUNTER" starts. I plan on posting a song at least once a month on this channel now, a lot of it may be related to Astrovellius or other little game projects !
