I have two shades of the previous Lip Tattoo and they were comfortable at the application but drying after few hours, probably for the alcool in the ingredients, and they were very similar to the Chanel rouge allure... I see on the Dior site that the formula of these new Lip Tint is slightly different and they don't contain alcohol anymore which is a good thing for my dry lips!

Yikes! Lots of orange tinted shades in the lighter shades. Never a good thing for me. However, I do like those deeper shades, especially the rosewood. I wonder whether the lighter shades would bond better if topped with a clear balm. Liquid lipsticks have developed so much. I remember the first time I tried them, I had to apply the color, then some clear, moisturizing stuff on top. Then it felt like my lips were going to fall off and, literally adding insult to injury, the color flaked. I’ve avoided them for years and nestled happily among sheer, lighter, more moist lip colors. The releases this year, in that lighter category, have been a real treat for me. Thanks so much for this video. The color comparison was so helpful.
That's a great idea! I will have to test it out with some clear gloss. I have topped it as it has worn off a bit with gloss and that worked well so this could help a lot! Thank you!

Hi Lexi, the tones are really pretty and the comfort aspect sounds good but I do find it a bit strange as to how the lighter shades wear. Natural Peach shade description says it is a "coral" shade on Sephora's site. I didn't see Natural Coral yesterday at their store. I just purchased the Peach one to try and like it. The tingly-ness doesn't bother me. I don't notice it unless I open my mouth. So, to me, I feel it's refreshing when I feel it. I didn't read much into it until I saw your review. I didn't realize there was some plumping to it. I wish they has their other Lip Tattoo formula. I wanted to try that and see the differences between them. Of course, the older one didn't have the tingly sensation.

I had no problem with the peach 🍑 shade it stayed for hours and hours more like 5 hrs and I have an olive skin tone ☺️🧡

Good morning Lexi! Wonderful video review as always. Thank you for pointing out Chanel's typical warm leaning with their lipstick, et al categories. I have been testing out their various formulas, but ultimately have a limited range of colors to choose from (neutral to cool/cool tones), particularly in the lighter shades. I will check your channel, but have you ever tried the Cle de Peau liquid lipsticks?

Thanks for the review and comparisons! I’m on the fence about these - it’s my third day wearing them and while I like the staying power, I don’t like how long the minty tingly feeling lasts. I never noticed any of that sensation with the Chanel Laques 💋
I agree Julie, the minty feeling definitely lasts a while. It took me a little while to get used to it but it doesn't bother me anymore. However, they aren't a favorite or "must-have" product for me.

I'm not surprised about the result.. This product is a copy of Korean lip tints just like their prior tints. Thin semi matte non drying tints are often not strong enough to stain true to colour in the light colours. Pink and red stains work best... Browns and oranges less so. Their formula couldn't make the light colours work. Wakemake, Clio, Hera, Etude House, Romand and Peri Pera have better staining in the similar thin non drying formulas. They have similar shades too. Fwee too.

Well this was extremely thorough, and I loved it. Kinda wished I had seen this before purchasing mine in Natural Nude, but at the same time, kinda thankful I didn’t? Weirdly enough, Natural Nude stays on quite a while on me 😂 Probably because I have really pale lips (almost white) so any color will stay on quite a bit. I agree with you though that the 12-hour claim is kinda… eh, didn’t last 12 hours. But this was a great and weirdly calming watch!
You made me want Rosewood though!! Hope that they stock it in my country- it’s out of stock everywhere (I know, I’ve checked).
Kinda curious though, which ones are the cool toned ones (I am bad with colors through a screen)?
Thank you! I'm glad Natural Nude is working for you. 351 and 491 are cooler from the ones I picked up but none of these are very cool. Those two are closer to neutral and the others are fairly vibrant yet slightly warm.

I noticed that a lot of lip oil/gloss/jelly have the same issue, they fade too easily. While some formula stay and hard to take off, such as bobbi brown.
Yes there really aren't too many happy mediums. I think the SUQQU ones are the best. They are pigmented and smooth, long-wearing but easy to remove when you want.

Because the performance isn’t great on the lighter shades, i would choose rosewood and poppy. Even if you rub the excess off right after they dry, they leave a gorgeous color!

Hi Lexi these are beautiful. Sad that lighter shades dont have long lasting power. I do never purchase any stain lipsticks for longtime. And i do would like but something in warm pink. Are Dior ones warm tone the second and third one? Chanel looks very watery . And what about the ones from Chanel double ones, which has stain and then sealed with gloss. Aren’t they similar. And do those come in lighter colors? And how would you compare to Dior ones? And can they just warn slightly in the middle as stain for the gradient look( like bitten lips , or just ate some berries kind of look? Thank you Have a blessed day 🙏🧡
Hi Giedre! 251, 451, and 561 are all warm tones. I forgot about the Chanel ultra tenue duos. I feel like those are more opaque and thicker. They are sticky without the gloss so I personally don't recommend them without the gloss but they look good. You can definitely dab all of these products on more as a stain to get the just bitten look. With the Dior, you can let them almost set and wipe them off with a tissue to get the lip fusion color which looks more like a "just bitten" look.
Thanks for the excellent review! I am not a liquid lipstick fan due to their drying nature but these looked much more comfortable. And I like that they can be applied in sheer layers, which I prefer. Still waiting for mine to be delivered but I’m looking forward to trying them out.
Did you by any chance pick up any of the new Hermes lip oils? I picked a couple of the colors up, thinking they’ll be good for summer. I’m wondering if they are at all similar to the Dior, which have been out of stock for forever.
I ordered a couple of the Hermes oils but unfortunately only one has arrived. My second one has been canceled. I have been testing it out and I really like them. I don't currently have any Dior oils to compare but I really like the Hermes so far.

Great video! Are these the same as the Dior lip tattoo tints?
These are a newer version of them and I believe the “staining” mechanism is slightly different than in the tattoos. These supposedly bond with the lips instead of staining and are supposed to be slightly longer wearing than the tattoos.
