Was a regular at the comedy clubs in Atlanta in the 80's and Tim became a good friend. Spent several nights post show drinking and swapping stories and jokes until way to late. Love ya Tim! RIP

I have something related to this.
There was a VFW that my dad and I went to (and they made good food) that shut down and is now a church. This could be the theme song to this church.

That song he did a couple months ago on B and T about the Cajun who kicked in the motel room door was hilarious. I wish they'd post a video of it. One of his best ever.
I saw Tim in Cincinnati about 7 or 8 years ago. Before he played this he said was inspired to write this from Joe's Tavern in Jellico Tennessee. I've been to this tavern and don't doubt this was a true story.
i think its funny that people consider this the best radio show and its based in oklahoma city. me and my dad listen to it every morning on our way to work.

Michigan audiences are know for being "stiff" and he showed up and he was talkin to the audience, and like normal michigan people they didn't say shit, but i was right there, front row, so i would respond, and he roasted me, and i roasted him and it ended up being one of the best standup gigs ive ever seen.
and at the end of his set, he walked off stage, put his hand on my shoulder and said "thank you".. he was such a cool guy.

blue laws,there used to be laws about bars being opened on sundays.if fact a lot of blue laws stated that no buisness should be done on sundays.no stores or resturants where open on sundays when i was a kid.

um, the words in english that are considered "cuss words" or called vulgar, are in fact words that were used by "commoners". upper classes looked upon their language as proof of their ignorance, meanwhile, the upperclasses used latin, early english, or french. the bible does not say that one can not use these words because they didnt exist in the early centuries, the time the bible was being written and christianity was being molded to be the hotbed of self rightousness and intolerence it is now
