6) at end of tooth four open turned steel wires which always gets you 🥺
7) after tightening the pain kills you 😭 can't even talk properly.
8) while wearing any clothes please close you mouth or else clothes get stuck to braces 😂
9) all tooth are literally shaky because they are moving backwards bit by bit 🤫
10) your tooth brush gets one more or two friends to reach out the extra corner.
11) spend entire day looking at your braces to keep it clean.
But....
The last result is mind blowing it shapes your jaw line, the way you smile, your cheeks enhances, and what's more you fell in love with yourself 😂🤣🤣 once again ..!

Dude the major struggles weren’t even covered!
1. You can’t eat hard or sticky stuff
2. You cannot bite for the first few days when you tighten your braces which is every month
3. You CANNOOOTT MISS YOUR APPOINTMENTS
4. You cannot close your mouth at all, even to hide your braces. Which is why you drool when you sleep
5. Your lips are all chapped and possibly bruised because of the braces
6. Wax is your saviorrrr
7. You have to constantly look if something is stuck in your teeth
8. Brackets are really that expensive
9. The struggle isn’t over after you get your braces off because apparently you have to maintain it by wearing retainers or you teeth will go back to it original state!
10. The mould they use to take an imprint of your jaw is gooey and gross and makes you gag every fucking time!
11. Your braces removal will be extended every time you feel you’re close to it!
12. And the paaaiinnn omg! Let’s put it this way! 10 times the pain period cramps gives you

@@melovesjenniekim6430 it really depends from person to person.. my teeth were extremely crooked so it took quite a while, like almost 2 years (it also got delayed due to corona because the dentists weren't allowed to practice as yet)... And now I have retainers, it's been a year now but honestly you just need to put it on at night and that does the work... But don't get scared after looking at the time. You get used to the braces and like I remember that after having them for like 6-7 months, it didn't pain or hurt much, just some pain which was totally bearable. And it can also be that your teeth may be in a better condition than mine, to usse kaafi kam time lagega...

But after removal of braces. Doctors recommend skalling of teeth but still yellow teths and. No effect of retainers. It got me 5years for braces and 3 continuous years for retainers. But alas my teeth are same before treatment but now I am suffering from yellowing of teeth. 😐😐

My doctor is very friendly and adviced me to brush twice a day and also to do a gargle after eating 🍴 to avoid yellowing of teeth...

Jo bhi braces lagvane vale hai mai unko batana chahungi ki... Bohot log kehte hai ki it hurts alot, we can't take the pain of braces, to mai batana chahungi ki guys aisa kuch nahi hoga it doesn't hurt alot. It hurts but not that of much pain. Tightening ke bad dard hota hai thoda or starting mai jab hum lagvate hai tab hota hai kyuki hame adat nahi hoti braces ki muh mai alag feel hota hai.... In my experience jab vo spacers(rubber bands putting in our molar teeths to create a space for molar bands) lagate hai tab hi muze jyada dard hua tha khana bhi khane nahi aata but vo 7,8 din hi hota hai... Par overall dard nahi hota trust me...In my experience muze to nahi hua, kuch dino ke bad to feel bhi nahi hota ki hamne braces lagaye hai. Khane ke bare mai batau to I can eat everything but just don't put lot of pressure while bitting baki aap sabkuch kha sakte ho hard food chodkar mai to panipuri bhi khati hu😋😅. Normal hota hai braces itna kuch nahi hai, muze bhi dar laga tha starting mai ki mai kaise dikhu gi,bahar kaise jaaungi,log kaise dekhenge muze, bura dikhega face don't worry about all this shit itna kuch nahi hota hum use to ho jate hai.itne gande bhi nahi dikhte braces so don't worry😊.Or vo jo alsar ho jate hai na jab vo wax dete hai doctors ya fir khud lena padta hai to usse dard nahi hota jyada. At the end of the day braces are worth it, hame acchi smile mil jayegi itne dino se jo hum uncomfortable hote hai vo chala jayega✨,mai to photo bhi nahi nikalti thi... Muze bohot uncomfortable hota tha dat dikhane mai kyuki mere dat bahar the thode jyada nahi par nahi aati thi acchi photo to mai nahi nikalti thi,par ab nikalungi😌. Ye sabke aage kuch dino ka pain kuch bhi nahi hai seh lenge thoda. Muze lagaye huye 5 and half moths huye hai kuch mahine Or.... I just want to tell you don't think about pain just go for it. Extraction ke time hota hoga pain mera nahi hua hai extraction. Jo bhi lena chahte hai treatment or dard ki vajah se nahi le rahe ya kaise dikhega uski vajah se nahi le rahe to I just want to tell them le lo bhai😅 itna mat socho. All the best❤✨👍

Ayesha Shaikh no, not at all! You’ve to wear them for a maximum of one year after your braces have been removed! It might exceed to 2 years at the max depending upon the condition of your teeth. But certainly not more than that! 😄

Dude the real struggle is when during the first week of getting braces😂 let's me tell you how it goes
Step 1. You see everything related to braces online
Step 2. You go to your orthodontist and ask him/her " kitna time lagega"
Step 3. You get your braces and you can't wait to see how you look and when you finally see yourself in the mirror you say " I don't look that bad"
Step 4. You take a pic of yourself with braces for future reference
Step 5. You have your first meal and that's when you start regretting getting braces because your teeth hurt AF.
Step 6. You find difficulty sleeping for the first week due to all the pain
Step 7. You ask yourself wierd questions like how would people react after seeing my braces, can i really not have a gum, can't i kiss with braces, is my orthodontist even qualified enough etc.
Step 8. You finally start acclimatizing until your orthodontist gives you more pain after every month or so

I had my braces for 2.5 years. My case was quite bad hence took more time. The real struggle in the initial days was not being able to eat well, things getting stuck was not an issue. Brackets when broke was a big prob. But the result was worth it.

He sadly used to get bullied and made fun of by his classmates and also because he was fat. I also used to share my bullying stories with Lohith as even i used to get bullied for being too shy and introvert as a boy. We both also used to have running race when i was in 10th and 11th std and he was 2 years younger than me. He always won and was surprised because he thought he was too slow. He showed me one of the bully of his class named Janak. From that day i used to go behind him and pinch Janak from behind. First 2 days he ran away seeing me. But from next day he started saying oye to me and tried to intimidate me by trying to hit me. I actually got scared as he was pretty big built compared to other 8th std boys and the same height as me (i was 5'7 and in 10th std). Whenever i tried to pinch him he would scare me off sayung oye and showing his fist. Even his other friends started trying to scare me and all i used to do was saying them oye i am taller than u, i will hit u and they used to laugh and scare me. Now i miss Lohith so much. I am a 19 yr old guy in 2nd year of engineering

The pain of getting braces tighten every month is severe 😵....when I went to the dentist he said it would take only 8months but it's been almost 2years since I have my braces on🙂 and the most irritating part.... people keep asking "what is that on your teeth?" Most people here are unaware of the existence of braces....so yeah, it's all the more frustrating 🙂

Bro eventhough i dont have braces i had a painful experience in dental hospital. In 2009 when i was a 4th std boy, i got cavities in my molar teeth and it was paining. My parents took me to dentist. Before removing my teeth, they put some injection and spray so it wont pain but i was scared so didnt let them spray properly and then when they removed one teeth it pained so badly. I cried. I had another teeth to be removed. But i was so scared i started screaming and crying and jumping around like a horse. After so much jumping the dentist said me ' you are a good boy right? I will give u chocolates if u stay let me remove another one'. Then i did and again it pained badly annd i cried. From then on i always got scared about my teeth. Even now i am a 19 yr old guy and would never want to go to a dentist again

The first one month of braces was like a trauma. EVERY one was behaving like I was kind of ALIEN
Guys u missed an important point ........that is the unbearable pain after getting those braces tightened😨😵
Omg, I thought the same!! I can't even eat normal rotis for about 2 days, so I always get maggi or oats as an alternative. Plus the struggles of eating bhindi and then trying to get rid of its seeds that get stuck in between the wire and bracket
My dentist removed 4 of my teeth before bracing me, and tightened them every month which was very painful.
But the pain was worth it!
Same thing happened with me..
My doctor removed my 4 premolars 2upper,2lower...
After around 11months the upper extraction gaps has been closed to almost 95% while as lower are little bit slow in closing , don't know why ,itz almost 60%.It is gonna take around 6months to close fully
Its a part of serial extraction .I think you have a case of crowding in your teeth for which doctor has to remove 2 premolars and to balance occlusion they have to remove 2 premolar again in opposite arch
Then to compensate the existing space they put on braces
Its pain might be due to food impaction or poor fitting.Just use mothwash and maintain hygiene of your oral cavity(teeths)

I Got the braces on both upper and lower teeth at same time..but why the gaps on lower teeth are closing slowly. It is like 50% closed than upper (90%)
@@sajad050 Because of your toungue movement.Your tongue most probably tends to push lower teeth forward thereby reduces the rate of closure.May i know exactly where your gaps situated.Like anterior side(incisors or canine)or posterior( premolars or molars)
Secondly check your braces if it was not loosely placed in your mouth especially in your lower jaw

@@sakshamk4009 wow u r so young i am a 19 yr old guy. I wanna be 15 or 16 again. I remember feeling as if i was a 5 yr old kid when i was 15 back in 2016. I went to Goa in 2016 Dussehra at age of 15 in 11th std with my parents and another family by overnight bus from Bangalore to Goa and the bus was full of guys in their 20s and i feeling like a little kid. There i enjoyed in the beaches, museums, eating burger in an European style restaurant, horror house, Churches, eating crab for first time, seeing a BMW Z4 sportscar for first time. I also remember while going to the bus stop in Bangalore i saw a Lamborghini and Ducati showroom in real life. I went to Goa as a 15 yr old boy but enjoyed like a 5 yr old little boy. I miss being 15-17 age range
