Hello,i see alot of music producers making this mistake of not turning off their sidechain for the bass when the kick is not playing in parts like 1:01:51 and 1:02:40. I know it was made in 1 hour but yeah, just reminding! I leaned alot of stuff in this 1 video, thank you. 🔥
My only critique is that when I started listening to AfroHouse it was a lot more varied, and now it's just devolved into every track sounding like this and just making another tutorial on making that exact vibe kind of reinforces that issue. The track you've made is very nice, I just wish people wouldn't keep following this exact formula because it's making the genre pretty dull already.
Fair point! I can really agree with the fact that it’s becoming a formula, which probably has to do with the rapid rise in popularity of the subgenre. Hopefully we can get to see new artists rise that bring in fresh sounds :)
@@TheProducerSchoolAfrican producers are harder to find but at the same time not really. Most African producers’ songs don’t sound like this. This is more European style Afrohouse which has grown more in popularity as mentioned is quite easy to produce. So everyone is just copying everyone with no originality.
@theproducerschool thank you guys for this amazing vid. I just watched it as I came across it quite randomly. I've had this urge to start doing music by myself hidden deep inside me for years, and how it is in life - either one day or day one. I believe I'm in a place right now with my life that I'd love to express myself not only by listening but also by creating music. Do you have any courses by any chance? I mean for super newbies/beginners to start from the scratch, like one on one or something. Cheers and great channel! Appreciate it a lot!
These "afro house" tracks are the most basic stuff. No one makes masterpieces like the ones made in the early 2010s. SHM, Zedd, Deadmau5, Knife Party, Alesso, Eric Prydz. Even the complexity of Calvin Harris or Avicii's music was on a completely different level.
Agree with this one Black Coffee started it with the Rapture part III then the pluck was nice but now everyone is making the same pluck and same rhythm and It's just not tickling my balls anymore ;) Nice video though!
First video in our brand new studio! What do you guys think of it? 🙌🏼
Love The Colors!!!!!!!💜💜
Love it😍❤

Thats not a full track though but half a track. I wonder how you would change up the second half to create tension.
