All great purchases and finds. It was very interesting to see all the very nice places in the photos from 30-40 years ago. I love to go to Flea Markets. Many times I find something for a very reasonable price also. I always walk around twice because you always miss something or they put out more things to sell. Thank you for sharing!
Photos from 1976 are old? I graduated high school in 1976....I must be ancient LOL This is one old geezer that loves your channel. keep up the good work!
Sheffield wants to be a star. Tell him hello from two Jack Russells girls in Ireland. Photo to the left. I really like your purchases. Just my cup of tea. C from Ireland
Very pretty samovar. When you and Alex use it, please film and share. Enjoyed the old photos, they are a piece of history. Thanks for sharing... stay awesome!
Lovely to see your treasures Valeria, and very helpful - now I know what you are looking for and I will try to find suitable cards etc. to send you soon...
I love old postcards, and feel lucky to have some from the former Soviet Union. (I'm from Canada.) I love Soviet-era design. Were I to go to Russia, flea markets would be at the top of my list.
The pictures have me thinking about Russian architecture. Two places that I would love to see are Saint Basil's and the Hermitage but I'm afraid that I never will.
Lovely purchases Valeria! The Samovar is beautiful, like the country! I like Russia and kind Russians so much, that one day I hope to be able to purchase a true Russian item just to have as a cherished representation at least. The photos were wonderful and yes, very clear, no worries. I too collect - in my case it is old vinyl records. I have one dating back to the late 1950s. I mostly have early 1960s to late 1970s. I too usually pay around 67 to 200 rubles ($1 to $3 US). I restore them and play them. Twice I have received a vinyl record as a gift from a Russian seller I sometimes run across just because I try to speak a little Russian. He can't believe I have such interest in learning it, but I think it is a beautiful language, but yes, most difficult.
You scored bigtime! Exquisite artwork! I got my drivers license in 1976..the photos are in remarkable condition! Thanks for sharing your prizes with us! I look forward to your next video!
It is odd for me to think of photos as collectors items but they surely are in this digital age. But I am an old man who once loved making photos like that.
Can i buy and take back to India? Old Soviet era posters, cards, books etc? No problem with custom? I am too much obsessed with Soviet Era. Have many books and stamps in my collection.
Alex, what did you buy? Your dacha is about the same size or bigger than my old cottage. Are you going to make a fireplace? My husband is remodeling our kitchen. He could really do with your help. Lol C from the little cottage in Ireland
I have enjoyed this channel for a while. Always interesting to watch! But my hearing is not the greatest so I turned on the subtitles to see what was being said - then about 9:26 it says.....she's got an ability of kidney stone Marcella.... well I guess for free and automated subtitles we have a ways to go. But then it occurred to me that if you have a UA-cam channel and want to check your pronunciation of words in a foreign language to make sure even deaf people can understand them - you could watch the video with subtitles turned on to see if the automatic subtitle algorithm gave you the correct word. Interesting possibility? Nice pictures from the flea market and an enjoyable channel - God bless!
Nice video Help me to understand the flea market culture in Russia I think it near about same in all over the world that you hear such a high price of useless scrap if you show your interest.. Have a nice day
Все эти открытки с видами Ленинграда (Санкт-Петербурга) знакомы мне с детства. Конечно, как и то, что изображено на них. Настоящее сокровище! All these postcards from Leningrad (St. Petersburg) are familiar to me since childhood. Of course, what is depicted on them too. A real treasure!
Oh, please do share your junk journals when you can! I am just starting to make junk journals. They are so much fun! :-). Love your post cards - thank you for sharing them.
Very nice pictures. I have a young friend named Katya who lives in Samara who sent me a packet of photos like that. They were pictures of her city and the Volga River.
No, she means junk journal! Is a book you make out of an old book or scraps of cardboard and cover them with pretty papers or tea stained papers. Is very crafty and recycles junk mail etc. Lots of utube channels showing how to do it! Fun craft :-).
I took the risk dealing with Luiz to be in charge of my trade and finally end up with perfect testimony.his platform is amazing and very straightforward.
The decoration on the samovar is very lovely - it reminds me very much of 'roses and castles' - traditional decorations for canal boats in England originally in the 19th century but still practised today - try googling 'roses and castles' for images
I really like the Samovar, very pretty. Will you show us your albums, I think it's interesting to compare the past with the current day I love the splendour of some of the old buildings. there.
It really worries me that 1977 is considered old. When you opened the package of B&W photos I thought you were going to say they were nineteenth century!
That Tea Pot is beautiful

"The set is very old. It was printed in 1977" (2:41). Good grief! My No. 2 Son was born in 1977. If he's "very old", what does that make me??!! ;-)
Another great video.

I see. It's all right. Over time, everything works out well.

Это очень любезно с вашей стороны! 😊

Very nice pictures. I have a young friend named Katya who lives in Samara who sent me a packet of photos like that. They were pictures of her city and the Volga River.
These old postcards work like a memory trigger. Memories takes you back to the past. Turns out the time machine is actually exists )))
ImixSpb - Yes. Memory is the only time machine we will ever have. It is often a very faulty time machine.
And, our memories are more like snapshots than motion pictures.
My time machine is running well... at least not yet. Ha! 😀 Sometimes I might remember almost every minute of my good old days.
ImixSpb - That must mean you have had a blessed life. 😀 This is good! Many just want to forget.
If I send money, would you pick up some things at your flea market, I'm Russian an need some items I saw at your flea markets?
🇿🇦♥️
