Apartment? I only saw a small kitchen with a teeny bathroom. I mean it would save steps seeing as your single bed would be within arm's reach of your frig, sink and stove so you could grab a drink and a couple eggs, fry the eggs, eat and drink and then wash your dishes all without ever having to leave your bed :/
Let's be honest, $2,000 to $2,300 for a storage unit transformed into what the landlord is calling an apartment is a laughable bad deal. But there's also someone willing to pay for that laughable bad deal. Anyways, happy new year.
NYC is expensive because almost 9 million people live there in such a tiny amount of land. If this city was a state, it would be the 11th most populated state in the U.S. No other cities in the U.S. can give you that type of experience of 9 million people in one city. I tried out a city with 1 million people and it felt like I was in the suburbs, the energy and life wasn't the same.
@@lawlkings That is still not an excuse to advertise a closet or storage unit as an apartment. But if people continue to rent out such ridiculous spaces, then nothing will change.
I rather have that tiny apt with a view, then those first two dungeons. Again, it's all personal taste. I rather have my own place , then have to have roomies to afford a larger place, and if you're in a good location that also makes a huge difference. Charles always has nice apts to show. Happy New Year !!
Refrigerators really need some space around them for air circulation, in order for the compressor not to burn out prematurely. So it's not a good thing when a fridge fits in a space so perfectly. Also in order to clean your appliances properly, you have to have room to pull them out of their places.
That last apartment was highway robbery. The master bedroom in my house is bigger then that entire apartment and my mortgage is around $560 per month. Apparently people will do anything for a NYC address.
It's always great to see Charles in your videos. Seems like a really cool guy. Happy New Year's to you and your family Cash, can't wait to see what apartments are to be toured in 2023!

I like the one with the pillar in the kitchen that is being remodeled. With the room being so big It would be easy to put a partition up to make a separate bedroom area.
All these small apartments Cash shows makes me think it's a great way for people to try them out and see if TINY HOUSE or VAN LIFE living is for them. 😉
@@d.martinez-rodriguez333 Omg same here! I’m in the process of majorly downsizing. I’ve already gotten rid of more than half of everything I own, just so I’ll have room for all my art supplies. 😂

Cash and Charles together again bringing more great videos for 2023! 🤗 The last apt was very tiny but still cute and cozy. That view of the Chrysler building is very nice! Thanks guys! I see you Charles 😉🥰
Location location location! At this point in my life I don't need to live in the middle of it all (ie - midtown or east Village). I'd love for you to show some places out in Queens again near the subways. More bang for your buck, great food choices in many areas, slightly quieter neighborhood vibe, and you can still get into Manhattan in a short time! And for those who aren't familiar with NYC - Queens is a borough of NYC, so you still have the NYC address! Always great to see the Cash and Charles combo videos!
Good morning, Cash and Charles! Happy new year! What a great way to start my day. I think my favorite apartment was number three the one with the parquet flooring. It's a little dated but checks all the boxes. Loving the Collab videos
You know you have been watching Cash for too long when he says the rent for this tiny apartment is $2,200 and you think to yourself, "Yea, that's a really good price"!!!
Too funny, I catch myself saying the same thing, then I think 2200 times 12 is 26,400. More than a quarter of a hundred thousand dollars! How does anyone afford that?
My horse's stalls are 12 x 12 but they are not in Manhattan. 😄 Love these apt tours. Very honest of you to show some that are in progress and also very honest that you show forgetting/misplacing the keys. Even with editing, not all go 100% perfectly. I never tire of visiting NYC then coming home to Kansas.
Wow that last one feels super cozy! I’d like to see how someone would furnish a place that small. You should do videos series where you go back and revisit some of these places after someone has moved in. Definitely would not put a table in there… why do you always want to cram a ton of furniture in these places?!
Cash- It just hit me that with so many people moving or have moved out of NYC, you may be the best person to get regular people coming back to the city. Btw- How's the family doing? I haven't heard an update in quite awhile.
OMG my master bedroom in my 2 bedroom apartment is bigger than last "apartment". This is a reminder of price to be paid to live in NYC, nuisance of roommates or overpriced closets. If I ever need to choose I will prefer tiny space to roommate in a beautiful place.
Loved that roof deck on the last one only 2000. That's cheap. And everyone can see you when you go on the deck. But I love the view. Great job Cash and Charles. See ya

But I still would love to visit NYC once in a blue moon…
12:28 OMG this whole place is smaller than my bedroom but i love that access to the roof deck... and it's TOP FLOOR, so nobody walks on top. Wow, those apartments are crazy expensive. My mortgage for a 3600 square foot house in Texas was $1600 a month. That was way before the market took off, though. The people who bought it are probably paying a lot more.
