I watched a hand quilting video you did and loved your color combinations on the quilt you were working on. And now seeing all your quilt projects you have a gift for choosing colors, prints, and styles. So beautiful! Thank you for sharing. ❤
Great video, I enjoyed watching. It was very helpful. There aren't that many color combing fabric videos out there, that I've found so far, I'm so glad I found this one. Thank you.
Haha! I like shopping for fabric and playing with different combinations as much as actually settling on a quilt bundle. I just think most of the time there really is no WRONG choice, which takes the pressure off a little.
I love this video! My way of choosing fabrics for a quilt. First, I buy plenty of the one pattern I absolutely love and I don’t worry to much on the price. Then, I use that pattern to find other complimentary fabrics in patterns and solids at a discount price, like 50% off or more. I keep a small swatch of the base pattern with me at all times so I can always be sourcing fabrics. Once, I have what I need I start my project. I have never gone wrong doing it this way and I don’t have to spend a tone of money! Anyway, your ideas are inspiring!
I would absolutely LOVE you to please make a video about how to use your fabric collections - no one seems to be putting any videos like this in UA-cam. We go to the quilt shop, come home with say a few fat quarters of fabrics, then what? All this stash and what the heck to make with them all? This is my main problem. I love my little fabric story I have so carefully chosen and also those odd fat quarters that are random purchases which I just cannot resist because they are beautiful...but again, they sit there in my stash with a big question mark over their heads, for a very long time... HELP! And I have been quilting for almost ten years and I still have this issue.

Such great ideas and tips! A fun and interesting chat to listen to and watch while I hand quilt! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you! What are you hand quilting at the moment?
Yes... I still find it so difficult to cut into my precious favourite fabrics! It was nice to hear your approach 😊
It’s always a struggle but then (for me!) it’s always been worth it when I finally do it!!
Glad you are making videos again. Hope you and your family are doing well.
Thank you so much! Same to you, stay safe
The fabric selection/grouping at 2.28 is beautiful.
Thank you! It’s a favourite of mine for sure 😊
