They look about as used as my 2 week old pair. Thanks for the tutorial. Did you remove the liners? I had read that you get the most comfort with these redwings if you remove the insole during the first month or so of breaking in. I thought I would give it a try. FYI, the insole in my boot was foam and rubber.
Nice video!! I am thinking of getting one as well and I'm not sure about the size. I am 11 in the iron ranger, should I buy the same size? What do you suggest? Do you have another pair of redwings to compare?
@@TheGlassToe many thanks for the information, it looks that are the same size, i will order them the size as my rangers. are you satisfied generally with the weekenders?
Could you have just used the Neats Foot Oil and not the mink oil? Would the Neats Foot Oil be enough conditioning? I have a pair of these and I really do not want to put the mink oil on them because it does darken the lesther so much.
The product I used was Neats foot oil. If you don't want to darken the leather I would use Bickmore Bick4. I've always had good results with that conditioner not darkening leather
Any round horse hair brush would work as long as you are working with smooth leather ( suede, nubuck, roug out need something different). I use one I got off Amazon. Redecker horse hair dish brush
Id still Buff them out with a leather shamie same as you take water and buff polish up n off saddles n cars with after it'll just get that oil to surface looking even better but shame leather stretchs as much on shoes
Just bought a pair for $40 on eBay with “heavy use” they’re just dirty. This is a big help thanks.
the boots look they are just about brand new
Thank you !
Lucky you !!! I hope you can wear them for many years to come .
Thank you ! I hope so too !
Great find
Thanks! 😃

The liners as in the insoles ? No I did not remove them. I bought these second hand so already broken in. The insoles in these I'd also foam.
Came from tiktok. These vids are so captivating and relaxing. Thx and keep up the good work!
Thank you so much ! I appreciate you being here 😄

Ok so It looks like my Rangers are a 9.5 and the Weekenders are a 10. I normally wear a 10.5 . I hope that helps!

I think the Sapphir product in the tin he used after the oil was neutral wax/polish, but I may be wrong.

$10 😄
What kind of brush would you recommend for the saddle soap process?
