    I enjoy your video content and humor. Your tripod video was the first I’ve seen using a camera tripod. Now the algorithm gives me 20 videos about them, but yours was the first. $20 adapter and I’m in! Thanks, and keep the videos coming! Subscribed

    Nice job. Always enjoy watching an idea turn into reality. I would have taken the grinder to the clamp and centered the gun, but if ain’t broke don’t fix it. Very steady footage. Extremely impressed how well it’s working. Always learn something when I watch your videos. Thank you.

      @meatheadmarksman2013  4 роки тому +1

      lots of people have suggested using as picatinny riser which is a good idea if it clears the bottle. As far as the phone goes the sensor needs too much light to work properly at night so ill figure something else out

    The atn will only film in 30 fps when its in night vision mode . i had the same problems the 120 fps only works during day filming

    • @meatheadmarksman2013
      @meatheadmarksman2013  4 роки тому

      I got another memory card today with a fast write speed so ill try it again, its weird that mine was spitting out 15fps... makes you wonder if the 30fps is day light and night sight is 15? i can see why, a slow shutter speed would allow much more light but it would be nice to get some nicer slo mo shots even if a more powerful illuminator was required

    • @davidscott693
      @davidscott693 4 роки тому +1

      @@meatheadmarksman2013 from what I understand when speaking with ATN it has nothing to do with the available light but the framerate cap is hard progrmed in the scopes software I was disapionted as well. Also your reticle will dissapear in your footage when recording at 120 fps thats normal as well

    Hey, Meaty...good toad smackin' Impact crackin' video! I was wondering how hard it is "in real life" to differentiate between the "friendlies" and the "enemy" by eyeballs alone or is it just UA-cam rendering since it looks tricky....Cheers!

    • @meatheadmarksman2013
      @meatheadmarksman2013  4 роки тому +1

      you can hunt them under white light, you dont really need night vision for them its just more fun that way so whenever im not 100% sure i shine the torch on em, but through the night vision you can tell them apart by size and shape, the toads are much bigger with a much wider head and a beefier lower back, were the native frogs all have very slender pointy rear ends so the shape is a dead give away. proper target ID is pretty easy because the pace of the hunt is so slow and casual, the toads dont generally move very quick and if you look at the frogs for too long they dissapear real quick haha

      I use "davinchi resolve" to edit my videos, you can crop, zoom and do all sorts of tricks, even some pretty wild special effects. There is a free version of the program too so highly recommend you download it and watch a few youtube vids to learn how to use it. Hands down best free video editing software available, no idea why its free... distance to target i think only appears when you range the target with the internal or external rangefinder? not sure... doesnt show up for me
