Granny killers are the worst. I live with my 79 year old mother who just finished radiation treatment for breast cancer. The thought of someone coming in and assaulting her... it makes my blood boil. She's got a little pen-sized taser that I make her keep by her chair. To get to her room, someone would have to get past me and my 2 dogs, and I'm always here at night. For daytime if I'm running errands, she's got the taser and her cell phone.

It's ridiculous how the scenes got cleaned up that many times. It's such a simple and easy thing to prevent, too. All they would have had to do is create some PSAs and have the media inform people to not clean anything even if they think it was just an accident like a fall, and give all emergency responders crime scene tape. So then whoever shows up first could mark the area off whether it's an ambulance, firemen, or police. It shouldn't be complicated.

Without it, finding and bringing to justice whoever did the deed would be impossible, unless a new lead comes out that will link to the previous incident, which is not even guaranteed to happen.

@@ThatCarGuy1983 It's not here anymore, so they must have deleted the comment. I don't remember which true crime channel they were talking about because it was one that I hadn't heard of, but they left a comment, and if my memory serves, it was a comment letting the content creator know that they'd been watching them for years, and how much they enjoyed their channel. And the reply they got back was the content creator just sh*tting all over them, calling them names, and be so befuddlingly rude...why would anyone treat a viewer like that? Don't people with channels want others to watch? It wasn't even like they left a comment saying that they disagreed with something that the content creator said in that particular video and that hit a nerve, it was a complimentary comment and the reaction was bizarre.
I have my favourite YT channel that I've watched for years (not true crime), every video, every Tuesday and Saturday LS, and I love the community that has built up around that channel. And the reason for the community is definitely the content creator. He's just a really good person...incredibly smart, funny, considerate, interesting, generous with his time, answers every email and Patreon message he receives, and during his LS he thanks every single person who's sent a superchat, or a PayPal donation since the last LS. And he makes so much content...3 videos and 2 LS per week. And I mean quality videos, not 10 minutes of pointless vlogging or clips from Tik Tok videos. I've sent him messages letting him know how much his channel means to me, and his replies have always been very nice and appreciative. I think I'd be heartbroken if I'd spent years thinking he was one kind of person, and then he replied to a message by telling me I was a loser. I think any of his viewers would feel that way because his viewers stick around for years, they really love him. It would be so upsetting to find out that he was actually a jerk, so I completely understand why that person was so upset by what happened.

Exactly. I just wasted a few minutes saying just that, and I saw your comment and deleted mine. I despise men who do horrible things to women who have nothing to do with his issues. Who even knows if he was treated negatively? And even if he was just get over yourself. He's a man child that was probably a clinging, little over sensitive twit who no one liked after all he did grow up to be a serial killer. Did those horrible actions fix things with his mother? And what he did had no bearing on her. So many children are abused in awful ways and don't grow up to kill others because of it. He's just a pathetic little loser and nothing more. He just wanted to kill and and blamed his actions on her. He is responsible for his actions no one else

I felt disappointed and frustrated with them too, but the police must have taken a bit of time to get there if they had time to clean up. I have attended a crime ( murder) scene after the police had finished, it was my best friend, and it was very difficult packing up the house, a rental, with big blood stains on the floor and all this black dust all over the house, that was for fingerprints. So I then thought well, maybe they were just really upset by the blood and mess and I think they thought in the beginning the women had only fallen. Maybe it's only in hindsight we can see how bad it was for them to clean up, maybe they didn't cotton on it was a crime scene when they were cleaning up. I don't know, I was just thinking it through and trying not to feel so frustrated! And I realised I know how it feels to see the blood, it's really hard to be around.
