What? During WW2, unless there was a supply chain issue ALL pilots were issued a parachute. There were a few exceptions like a small number of biplanes that were used as recce.

Bro that ejection portion was like straight out of a movie.
Pilot is struggling to eject out of his burning plane and once he does he finds himself in combat with just a simple turn in the opposite direction and upon barely entering combat he's not well equipped for immediately gets shot at by an enemy tanks machine gun.

He has to exit the burning plane as a German tank is advancing towards him.
He exits the plane and joins allied infantry.
