Yes, after trying it out, I’ve decided against it. I’ve been a desktop user for decades and while I do appreciate some of GB’s features on the iPad, the learning curve for LP on iPad is just too steep for me right now. I will continue to use GB on iPad for some song sketching but then finish it in LP on my desktop.
Appreciate your feedback and agree that it won’t be for everyone’s workflow - especially those accustomed to desktop. And yes, because I haven’t used Logic on Mac a heap it is a little hard for me to clearly talk to every difference. I’m sure some of the Logic Mac folks will be on to this.

I am not able to assign any effect to the Master Channel in Logic Pro on iPad. I want to add Compressor, Limiter, EQ, Etc. I get a message th says “select a track that’s can host Plug-ins”. ??????
Hey Pete Johns, I have been trying to connect my Yamaha p115 digital piano to my Logic Pro as midi keyboard but it’s not connecting can you make a video how to connect digital piano? It’s connected on other apps like sound keys and korg piano and also on GarageBand.
Really? That’s a little odd. Check your MIDI settings in the app, including the Settings app where you can enable MIDI 2.0. I will be exploring this soon however.
I'm waiting for the hype of the new product smell to fade away, and see what people think in a Year, did the product end up getting more people to make better music and did it get them to sell more songs? or was it just another gimmick for a piece of hardware, that has yet to changed the music industry.
Agree with the principles but not necessarily the metrics. I believe the measure of success is how many people are creating and sharing, as opposed to specifically selling or changing the industry. But I’m always a little on the cooperate side of things instead of compete. It’s why I haven’t switched to crypto or AI. 😀
Hi …. 1st of all I like your videos…& I’m a fingerstyle guitarist & a UA-camr I use to record on Logic Pro- IPAD WITH LEWITT LCT-240 condenser Mic + Acoustic guitar inbuilt pickup for ( 2 layers of recording) But still I’m not satisfied with the guitar output…. I think i m missing 3rd party VST effects like on Mac ……can u plz suggest how I can get better output ( specially on Fingerstyle cover recordings )

LP quite reasonably uses a subscription model. If I let that subscription lapse because I’m busy doing something else for a few months, can I re-subscribe and find all of my files, customised LP layout intact etc ready to go again?
Hey there. Yes, your files won’t be affected if your subscription lapses. You can even archive and save your projects off your device in something like Google Drive or Dropbox. Just ZIP them all first. 👍😎
Q. Hi Pete! Great content, When a vocal track I Garage has extreme tuning effect, and passing to logic Pro iPad, it get lost, .. For now I'm bouncing in solo that track in audio track and Importing in logic, but take time... It's not in logic that preset? .. It's nice for bad singers like me. Thank! Javier from Spain

I think I’ve been pretty clear that my opinion is that it won’t be for everyone and totally agree that some folks have workflows that suit GarageBand or other DAWs. For those who want the options on offer here, they can take a look!
