I used a similar set on a 3X3 for the next less cold coffee that's coming up on my channel. They're very nice tuners and I have to stay very solid they got a lot of weight to them and the tuning ratio is 21 to 1. I also have a baby blue coming up on my channel in a month or so. Beautiful color I love it
I didn't think I would like the color. However after seeing it I. Person I absolutely love it. So 80's. I will definitely be watching for your video. Thanks for watching my friend.
I think I paid 159.00 for the morandi grey which looks just like the platinum matt charvel... I was always a dinarzio guy and if those were old they were prolly the hot rails or the super distortions which I don't care for the tone on either . I like the black hardware on these compared to the chrome on the Charvel I was copying . But since the charvels got the Duncan's I went with a Jason Becker Duncan hum in the bridge and just a standard Duncan SC in the middle and kept the Fesley stock neck pickup which I actually like the tone . I went with the black pickups as I don't care for the white especially with the black hardware . Did you have to tweak the nut a lil or any saddles ? Curious cause I had a slight buzz on the n string 3rd fret ?
Good question. I did this for two reasons. The first is the length of the wire on the new pickup would not reach the pot. But my main reason I do this is because most times I go back in later and add a quick disconnect at the splice point for easy pickup swapping. Most of my guitars have QD's Thanks for watching and thanks for the question.
I definitely should have done that. It did sound great with the stock ones though. I was so excited to throw these in I just didn't do a video on it. lol. Hind sight. Thanks for watching!

Does the brown look good? I was thinking of picking up another. But I can't decide on color. And what are your impressions? I am curious as to the set up of more than the one I got. Thanks for watching!

Wish they made those tuners in Black :( Have not been able to find this style in black
I wish this Guitar come only with ONE VOLUME Knob... and put the money into a bone nut or graphtech nut or a sculpted heal

My neck needed a slight adjustment that's all.
Any reason you spliced the pickup wires together instead of desoldering/soldering the pickup wires directly from the pot itself? Seems like extra work

Why change the pickups, they sound great, and they are Dimarzio pickups?
sounds killer! I wish I could hear the stock pickups though.
