*Not my property/not for-profit. * Crown & Key Records 3702 - Choir Pasadena and the Pasadena Band was a supergroup comprised of very talented musicians with discographies in their own right. This is a mint copy of their only known single, released in 1983. Aside from Don Myrick (soprano sax) and Don Whitehead (piano) of Earth, Wind and Fire, the group featured Rahmlee Michael Davis (trumpet), Cash McCall (guitar, born Morris Dollison, Jr.), Keith "Kiki" Satterfield (bass), "Master" Henry Gibson (percussion), James Bradley (drums), and Michael Harris (trumpet). The choir, directed by Darryl Phinnessee, featured Maxi Anderson, Gwenche Matthews, Lisa Freeman Roberts, Howard Lee Smith, Jim Gilstrap, and Wade Flemons. Lyrics were written by Alex Gerber, Jr. The tracks themselves were recorded at Monterey Studio in Glendale (defunct) by Jackson Schwartz. Album artwork was coordinated by Richard Valdez and Ruben Rodriguez.
