Exactly. When people learn their language and use it regularly this would make someone question the etmyology of words used. Once people understand etmyology their thinking goes in many directions,it just offshoots in many various topics such as culture,ethics etc language,culture,societal norms all these are connceted and interlinked. Language is key.

Yesss... And so much funding has gone into pitch another Indian language against Sanskrit so that even if the government exercise it's power to make Sanskrit mandatory it should face severe backlash. I mean we all love our languages but don't hate Sanskrit. But in a particular state loving your language means hating Sanskrit.

We still need a 1 line defination to neutralise the vilification. The video suggests the term is reactive. We need a defination that is clear and explanatory. What i undrstand is that hindutva represents the societal paradigm that preceded and followed colonsation and had its own framework of existence charrcterised by rights duties and freedoms that were destroyed by colonisers and are sought to be revived and restored in order to establish a prosperous society.

The word Hindus is opinion of persian and turk-mongol invaders as people leaving with life style as it prevailed on banks of Indus. At that time they were called cultured and civilized aaryas. It’s a shame and distortion of historical facts to say MN Roy was inspired by Savarkar.
MN Roy shared a stage in Mumbai with Savarkar. Roy wanted to introduce Savarkar as a great revolutionary who had influenced him in his childhood. But Roy also publicly disagreed with Savarkar’s interpretations of Hindu-Muslim relations and his conceptualisation of Hindutva. Roy was never ‘Inspired’ by the British Chamcha Savarkar.
In fact Roy’s promotion of Radical Humanism is the only most sophisticated philosophy that works for the modern world than the sick Hinduphobic terrorizing philosophy of Hindutva.
This guy Ruchir Sharma looks like a Hindu Zakir Naik. Comes up with false rhetorics to reject everything that happened in history and give it a Hinduphobic agenda to portray the actual meaning.
