Under powered guns? a MK 108 was able to down a B-17 in 4 hits on average and would generally take the wing off a fighter in one. 85g of RDX in each shell, look up images of MK 108 tests done after the war, saw a pic of a spitfire tail nearly tore off from one hit and that was from a round that hit almost mid way up the plane. For comparison a Mk 2 grenade only holds 52- 66g of explosives
I know, right? how can a pair of 30mm cannon be considered under powered? the He162 was far from being a bad aircraft in any aspect, considering it went from proposal , design, R&D, prototype, production ,and finally operational status in about the same amount of time put in to researching this video... well.. probably a little longer , but it has a pair of 30mm cannon for God sakes.
