    The Red Rocks kicked my Capra's butt a few weeks ago. It's going to take some time to get it dialed in it's looking good. Your little problem could be overheating. Stay safe, my friend. Can't wait to get back out there.

      Haha it can be merciless at times. Especially if it’s wet out!
      Could be, but nothing feels hot. I’ll get it figured out!

    I have a poizd T3 myself, With a furitek Python X Esc and a 1800 KV snubnose revolver, Stock capra shocks, Treal outer portal brass, Injora 1.9 comp pins and Ali Express carbon fibre beadlocks, And dlux portal transmission no overdrive yet but will be ordering some soon, Pins seem to work really well even with stock foams

    Yeah buddy! Definitely gotta get on your furicar app and do some tuning for slow-crawl and voltage cut-off. Traction was definitely an issue...trust in the G8's, they'll hook up once scrubbed in.

    I love that rig , that paint job is awesome . I just built my first comp rig, im running an amk carbon fiber chassis ,capra axles . Outrunner motor ,rhino esc . Gonna start testing it very soon now that the weather is better here . Your power problem could be low battery cut off or esc getting hot , you will figure it out im sure

      Sounds like a nice build! I switched to a slighter larger battery and it did good!

    Apparently that cutoff is a thing with those furitek esc's. The Holmes crawlmaster mini v3 works amazing straight out of the box with no tuning required, I'm currently running 2 of them.

    Im willing to bet its the voltage cutoff. These escs build alot of heat in the foc mode while trying to crawl. Id dish out the 85$ for a crawlmaster.

    The python has a weak esc. I pair mine with a castle bec or a direct powered servo off the 4 cell.
    on week 3 of waiting for a new warranty python to show up
    Castle for now it seems.

    Yes the power thing that your having I'm having in my Axial to people have suggested to me a direct power servo or get a BEC or if you can turn up the internal BEC if you have one. Otherwise Great video! Also on a side note if you turn down your steering endpoints that prevented it for me but might not work for you?

    • @urbancrawler1459
      @urbancrawler1459 5 місяців тому

      Or you can always just change the ESC if required. But I am not an expert just going off of experiences.

    • @HobbyDrop
      @HobbyDrop  5 місяців тому

      @@urbancrawler1459 no I appreciate the suggestions. I have tried a different battery and had no issues! So maybe it just requires a little more juice? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I also bought a new battery that’s equally as small. I’ll try running that too. I’ll get it figured eventually.

    I'm stoked for my Yue one v2
    Should be similar to this as far as breakover and axles
    Have you tried 4.75 tires with this?
    Do you have overload protection on? I'd turn that off and try it. I love furitek in my mini crawlers and I just ordered one of these 1/10 but I got their motor to go with it.

    • @HobbyDrop
      @HobbyDrop  5 місяців тому +1

      I tried 4.75 trenchers for 1 run. It just didn’t seem quite right. My wheels base is 13” so I feel a bigger tire is better.
      I’ve got their 2000 kv revolver as well. I tweaked a few things tho morning. Ima drive it today and see how it does.

  • @rcarty419

    The furitek 1/10 ESC are an issue.
    I’d bet money that’s the problem.
    It looks good otherwise.
    Think asked this before what class does the poizd fall under is it a sporty…or does it qualify for a class 2 or 3 rig….those killer comps you guys do out there are a little more open.
    Man that paint job is amazing I the light!
    Have good one dude

    • @HobbyDrop

    Good question, what chassis do you all recommend. I'm thinking of building something ground up the first time. Thinking of using either capra portals, or f10s from vanquish.

    • @HobbyDrop

      What shock would you recommend at 80mm? It’s the furitech python x

    • @mikeearls8158
      @mikeearls8158 5 місяців тому

      That is a common problem with the Furitek ESC, I’ve had the same issue and I think it’s a voltage drop. Dravtech by Dlux are pretty good but really whatever 80’s you can find. I have desert lizards on my Poizd but they are 90’s on AR45 straight axle.

      These ones specifically I like because they reduce the track width of the axles. They are kind of a pain to put on. But they are nice and light weight. Everything threaded together nicely.
