It really is! We love being here and calling it our home and we also enjoy traveling from here to other countries. It’s very easy and convenient.
2:59 This is what I tell people when they just dismiss the thought of BGC cause they think it's just ANOTHER typical Big City like in the west when it's far from it.
It is like that but 100x better, cleaner, safer and more livable. It's so family centric too with its shops and variety of events and activities that they hold each week/month.

100x? you are overrating it, you definitely not been to say Melbourne just a standard city that is great that has been designed over a century ago and still worked so well ! BGC could have been better if that American cemetery is just an open public park.

BGC is such an ideal place to live in. we spent our last weekend enjoying high street, uptown, & forbestown. we had a blast! & for sure your family will love living in & exploring the different parts of BGC as well.
Where were you visiting from? Ahhh yes! We love the vibe here. From Highstreet, to Uptown and Forbestown. We enjoy this entire city!
me & my friend live in a small city called santa rosa (in the province of laguna). about 34 kilometers south of bgc.
please come & visit our city's amusement park called enchanted kingdom. & maybe stroll around, bike, shop, & eat at the numerous restaurants & cafes in the largest eco-city development called nuvali (by ayala land, the same developers of bonifacio high street, serendra, etc.).
it's a great place to live in as well. just google NUVALI. maybe stay @ seda hotel in nuvali while you guys explore the place.
anyway, enjoy exploring the country!

It's awesome to see Filipinos and other foreign nationals coming back to the Philippines to settle. It's an eye-opener for all that the country is not that bad and dangerous. It's a surprise for family moving to the Philippines from the US, but living in BGC is one of the best cities of the world. I was just in the Philippines for the whole month of August where my home is in the northernmost part of Quezon City. I wish you find the best place that you can call home! All the best! 🙂

Do not bring all your savings to the Philippines. Leave enough in the US for safety reasons. Condos in BGC are very expensive, if need to buy try looking at other locations like Ortigas, Greenhills or Makati. There are some 10-15 yr old condos that are a lot cheaper. Or a house in Nuvali, its located in the outskirts of Metro Manila but it is a gated community with US style 3-5 bedrooms 3-5 bathroom homes and malls nearby for about half price or cheaper compared to a 3 bedroom condo in BGC.

It is one of the safest place, the culture and manner of the people including expats are so behave being professionals. It is a place where road rage, drug proliferation is not tolerated unlike in most cities of Mexico and the US where petty crimes are rampant daily.

I’m so excited to make it our home base too. Great place to live but also to travel out of. Yes, we’re patiently waiting for our besties The Lockwoods to get here! We miss them so much🥹 So we walked to Uptown but haven’t checked out the condos yet. I’ll look up North BGC. Thanks for the heads up. Ahhh Tagalog is hard but I’m learning a few basic words every day. Hope I can pick it up😝🇵🇭
