When you said "can you find another fucking window" I felt that harcore, almost everytime I play a game like HLL someone just goes and proceeds to stand right in front of me and my sights when I'm hunkered down in a good position because they want to be in my spot and so I have to yell "MOVE IT" "GET OUT OF MY LINE OF FIRE" "YOU'RE IN MY WAY" and sometimes they don't listen and get accidentally killed by my volleys of fire at the enemy, it's irritating.
Another lame ass fps- waste of time.
They just need to lower the recoil, it recoils like the garand and when you watch people actually shoot them, it's absolutely manageable at full auto because of the low rpm.
The recoil is already minimal. Lower it anymore then it is the it is basically a .22 cal.
I mean it’s better then the Thompson recoil

@@TheTimbs_ that is 100% true yes I absolutely love the Thompson but when you look at the real recoil of a real life Thompson it’s not as bad as in the game for some reason also they don’t have the original sites which doesn’t make much sense, but overall that gun is amazing 🤙

I mean I would kind of understand the burst of rounds headshots because of the gun's natural rise but, single shot one's not so much...Well, I guess you can just chalk up those one shot ones due to your superior sniping skills.
I love sitting at about one hundred yards or so with it, and just firing one round to take the helmet off. The gun is crazy accurate at range, it's decent at close quarters, overall it's pretty good to me. I get that alot of people don't like it due to fire rate and such, but I think it makes up for it with accuracy.
In real life the bullets have a tendency to tumble.
i think its quite good at close range im much better with it than i am with the tompson
@@faasnuhind8578 every gun is 100% accurate I think. Bullet drop and travel time are the only factors that make the grease gun crappy beyond 50 meters.

@@b-beale1931 i get that. But that is the sights fault, not the gun. With this i mean that it's not the gun effectiveness and the mechanics fault, its just the sight. Maybe it should stay like this, not everything can be perfect and in reality it wasnt
@@b-beale1931 that’s the issue of aperture/peep sights. You just need to get better at using them.
They already made allowances with the American weapons.
The Garand’s sight is a lot smaller and precise, and the Thompson’s sights are more like the grease gun.
Honestly I don’t like these changes as I think they’re trying to placate an audience by already making the team with generally better weapons even easier to play.
Inspiring as always. the ability to put that sight in just the right spot is awesome. All weapons have their pros and cons.

What is your workflow like on these videos Alpine? Is the flow something like 1. Play a few rounds 2. Edit that set of sessions and upload 3. Bask in the glow. Or do you accumulate a ton more video from different sessions then put them together later?

But seriously, I don't understand how you get so many head shots with that thing at distance. The front sight covers your target and you ping his helmet over and over again.

never understood the hate of it... for me it was always the little brother of the BAR with actuall usable ironsights :)
Sometimes it works, sometimes you cant hit a damn thing with it, single shot or full auto. If you don't hit them in the head you cant hardly kill them. .45ACP is not a weak round even 100m out.
That guy getting in your window blocking your fire is a problem I run into constantly.
The other night I was firing on an enemy playing offensive, and some moron ran through my arc of fire about three feet away from me, opened up his noggin, and the enemy I was aiming at shot me. Then the moron wanted me to apologize for shooting him. Its like the guys who run into an artillery barrage then punish you and complain, then come back and TK you on arty. Stop walking where the rounds are firing.
They see friendly tracers from an MG, and decide running through them is the best course of action. Its a simple rule, don't run through tracers. If someone is aiming, go behind them. All these COD/BF types have nearly zero situational awareness.
I get TK'd all the time, in every game I play that has friendly fire on. Its kinda crazy, but I am off pushing the point, doing the job, and someone on my own team lights me up. I'm not running through tracers, putting my head on the muzzle of their gun, or standing in front of people who are aiming, they see me off in the distance and simply shoot me.
The only time I punish someone for it is if was blatant, like they are doing it to everyone, or if I am about to cap a point/take out a garry, etc and they kill me.
It would be great if people could pay attention like you do... instead we get FRONTAL ASSAULT EVERYONE GO FROM THE SAME SINGLE GARRISON FROM THE SAME PLACE! IGNORE THOSE ENEMY MGS! JUST RUN IN LIKE LEMMINGS!!!! lol
What? You mean we all can't just share the same window, vantage point, hole in the fence?!?! And I shouldn't just run thru unrelenting allied MG fire?
All joking aside, if you punish artillery that has been firing on the same point/area for a minute or so, you are dumb. The rounds have a 20 second hang time basically, and if someone runs into that zone while it's in the air, that's on you.
@@faasnuhind8578 try telling the noobs about that travel time to the target. They always say its the fault of arty. I watch the map and see people running directly into where the rounds are hitting, like they are drawn to it like the bug things in Wreck It Ralph.

I feel the recoil is a bit to high. Either change the sight somehow or lower the recoil. I find it hard to locate the enemy when ads with it

That's just hilariously bad. When I was in the army, our arms room had grease guns. The max effective range was around 100 feet . lol. I got yo shoot one. Ridiculously inaccurate. I got to waste a ton lf ammo because my company was getting rid of them. That was a blast but there is no way that a grease gun is gonna do headshots outside of 20 feet haha

There was a test conducted postwar shooting at a m1 helmet, the 45 acp penetrated at around 50 yds and below. German 9mm was at 80 and below and nato spec 9mm was at 120 and below.

That thing is almost as annoying to be killed by, than the PPSH. Its ridiculously over-powered. The Range on those two guns is pure nightmare material.

I have not encounter a single dude who said that the Grease gun was shit. This gun is almost too overpowered. Less Recoil than a Mp40 and more precice as a Thompson.
Well irl the gun has less recoil than a MP40 and is more precise than a thompson lmfao, I've shot one, it's incredible

In real life, the grease gun DOES suck. It was designed to be a cheap replacement for the Thompson.
Strange, because a lot of the troops seemed to love it.
@@famalam943 look at the amount of time used to make one. Also, look at the quality of the materials it was made from. It may have been well received by the troops, but as firearms go, it was junk.
@@brianpayne4549 well that kind of goes against the point. If the troops loved it and was very capable in their hands, the cheapness isn’t really an issue. I’m fact I’d argue that’s a potential quality considering how many they made.
The Thompson was the needlessly complex, heavy, too fast ROF and a weapon designed for ww1. It was 20 years out of date at the time.
As I said, if the troops loved it then that kinda negates things like cheapness.
@@famalam943 it doesn't negate it, at all. Take Jeeps, for instance: I think we can agree they aren't exactly a top notch vehicle. They're certainly no BMW. But they fill a niche. Would I own one? Never.

Similarly with the Thompson. It’s too heavy, too complex and too expensive to practical for military service.
Being utilitarian would be the most useful attribute.
Sorry to say this but it still sucks for me, a very lousy shooter. seems to me that the bullet flies like a howitzer to the target over 50m away.
Its 45acp, a big fat slow bullet.
The damage just needs to be brought up a little bit. It has Thompson damage, but nowhere near Thompson rate of fire.
Edit: Close range fighting is abysmal for the Grease Gun. More often than not you end you firing before the enemy does and you still get dropped. Medium range is where this weapon shines, but that's not the best thing for an SMG.
It’s not that it sucks, it just takes so long to unlock most people lose interest
