Mr. Regular doing something regular that's not regular to him. Edit: Mr. Regular better review a Reliant Robin while he's there or so help me, I will send the Miata Gods after you!
Depends where you get said fish n chips from. Some places are better than others. This place seemed to play hell with Mr. R's colon judging by tweets :D
*English. Having moved to Scotland from England I can tell you fish and chips up here is similar but strange. Can get Ice cream and regular takeaway items like pizza and what not from a chippy. Also theres a thing called pizza crunch which is a deepfried slice of pizza. Haven't seen the deepfried mars bars I've heard people talking about though.
Fuck yeah, when I was in the UK I went to visit a cousin in Blackpool of all places and I remember sitting by the sea side freezing as fuck from jetlag and being a skinny Australian, eating some fish and chips with salt and malt vinegar to warm me up.
luigikiller1000 haha yeah it was pretty run down but when you've spent 20 hours flying across to the UK it'd be a bit of a dick move not to visit them lol
Tfw Mr. Regular eats Fish and Chips in your home town! Can recognise that corner from anywhere, he's on the corner of Coten End/Coventry Road in Warwick, Warwickshire; and probably bought his fish & chip supper from St. Johns Fish Bar :) Wonder whether he was staying there overnight
Looks like you got a decent Fish and Chips there. The fish falling apart but with crispy light batter is exactly what you want. The best Fish and Chips in the whole country is at the seaside town of Whitby. If you get chance I'd recommend visiting it because it's a cool place even without Fish and Chips. The guy who wrote the Dracula novel was inspired by Whitby.
Sorry mate, but Grimsby has the best Fish and Chips in the country. The fish is landed there and the spuds are also grown in Lincolnshire. Granted, Grimsby is a shithole.
Mom: "So what are kids these days watching on the internet?" Me: "Well, I just watched a middle-aged man eat fish and chips for two minutes straight, and it was riveting."
It's so funny Regs and Rome in the UK. It re-contextualises them for me, almost like they weren't real before - now they're in my back yard doing the things I do.
This reminds me of the time Dream Theater played Manchester in the late 90s, and I ended up meeting all the band in a "chippy" (as they're informally known in the UK). All the band, ordering fish and chips and were as amazed as Mr Regular was. I love it when Americans come over here and they try out stuff.
I live in Minnesota and we have a lot of really cool fish and chips places. one thing that is kinda a cultural staple here is to actually use walleye instead of cod because it's a local fish. A little more earthy. Most places will do both kinds of fish though. It's never supposed to be "crunchy". One of my favorites.
As a Londoner I always wondered if he'd ever come to the UK. I imagined handing over the keys to my regular K11 Micra and meeting the man behind it all. Then I see a video saying he's flying to the UK. Awesome! When's he due to go back home? He's already gone back home. Mr Regular has already been here for weeks, and he's already gone back home. He's already gone. I couldn't say hi.
Great to see you in the UK. Hope you like the regular cars we have over here. Looking forward to your videos. Also the best fish & chips you can get in the UK are by the coast.
British chip shops very specifically dont have malt vinegar. "Chip shop vinegar" is "no brewed condiment" ie not truly vinegar at all. It is diluted acetic acid with a bit of caramel for colour.
lovely to see such an honest reaction! :D - I live in Denmark right across the North Sea, and I've been to England and Scotland but never tried Fish and Chips. I hope you get to drive some regular European cars when you are over here, and I am looking forward to the new content. :)
Gravy is a good choice, but it's the curry or garlic sauce that makes it! So happy you liked them though. :) As an aside, Mr Regular if you're ever back near Pittsburgh there's a British (specifically Scottish) pub there. It's called Pipers Pub, 1828 E Carson Street 15203. I went there when I was last in the states and other than the sausages being a bit weird, is very authentic. Lovely stuff! Regards, a weird ginger Brit :)
When you come to New Zealand you must try the Fish & Chips from 'Raglan Fish' in Raglan. Caught by local fisherman, unloaded at the wharf and served right there. Freshest you'll ever find.
Try out the curry sauce when you have it again, curry chips is a godsend. Have you had a cuppa yet? We need a review on that, PG Tips is what I recommend, can't go wrong with them.
Some regular things are amazing to see in other countries. I would vote for a burrito or a kebab cause It´s rare to see here in Rio de Janeiro. Besides I don´t enjoy cars but love this page and the humor in it.
First time I went to England I had fish n chips on Brighton Pier. I had it with mayonnaise and malted vinegar. That's the way my dads side of the family eats it. I wonder if sauces and toppings for fish n chips in England is regional. Sorta like BBQ sauces in the US.
this comment section will consist of the following. 1. "Not a caaaaaar" 2. "which (blank) is best (blank) 3. "So British" 4. "Seeeeew fawnceee" 5. fart and toilet jokes.
How do you live so close to the ocean being not to far from New England and have this be your first time. I haven’t watched the video but hope you liked this awesome treat. Originally from south shore Massachusetts this and fried clams are a common thing and looked at as so good by many.
A Friday night 'ruby Murray' with a couple of jars. And the classic Sunday drive to a country pub and roast dinner next please ( all the trimmings roast spud, Yorkshire pudding etc etc )
Oddly enough, here in southwest Florida, I have two very good, UK style fish-and-chips places near me. Neither has offered gravy though. I may have to ask about that.
Luckily I live near an English Pub that is owned by a guy who came over from England. He uses his recipe for the fish and chips, it's amazing. I know exactly what you're describing even if what I ate isn't physically in England.
Those are some good looking fish and chips. Where in the U.K.? I must travel to this place. P.s I am British but there are also some bad chippy's here!
Surprising that someone who lives in the north east hasn't had good fish and chips but I guess that's because I'm on the coast and I forget that there are massive chunks of these states that are nowhere near the sea.
Few things are better than good fish and chips. I can't speak for British-style fish and chips but Boston beer-battered fish and chips is one of my favorite foods of all time.
GM is getting more and more ambitious with these new cars. What's next? Mac and cheese?
that's too good for GM, it's hyundai.

British Fish n Chips: The official food of "I WANT MORE GREASE".
(I've been away in Switzerland too long. I miss proper fish n chips.)
If you think that shit's greasy you've never had a Greek gyro. What? Why do you think it's called "Greece"?
Depends where you get said fish n chips from. Some places are better than others. This place seemed to play hell with Mr. R's colon judging by tweets :D

Yo. You better have put some salt and vinegar on those chips
Malt vinegar!
Almost pointless without malt vinegar.
Fuck yeah, when I was in the UK I went to visit a cousin in Blackpool of all places and I remember sitting by the sea side freezing as fuck from jetlag and being a skinny Australian, eating some fish and chips with salt and malt vinegar to warm me up.
Blackpool is a hell hole, I should know since I live close by.
luigikiller1000 haha yeah it was pretty run down but when you've spent 20 hours flying across to the UK it'd be a bit of a dick move not to visit them lol
Angled for perfect eye candy through the whole video... Mr. Regular's smile.
This is the quality content that I've come to expect and love from your channel
Hey, vsauce, rcr here

They don't have seating because you take it with you after a night getting pissed, eat it, and then put it back onto the path in liquid form.
Fish and Chips at the pub? Not a car! When can we expect the small dog reviews?

OMG thats Warwick! on the emsote Rd, I used to live just down the road from there...
It was very gracious of you to be so complimentary about the food to your hosts. I hope your travels go well.

First time I had been to that fish and chip shop. Will definitely go again!
Buckinghamshire, England here. Where are you guys headed around, anywhere local to me?

Here in Australia we have great fish and chips like they have in England too, eat it with tartare sauce on the beach, it's the best.
A Friday night 'ruby Murray' with a couple of jars. And the classic Sunday drive to a country pub and roast dinner next please ( all the trimmings roast spud, Yorkshire pudding etc etc )
“Long John” is the cannibals word for human flesh as per Robert Louis Stevenson Treasure Island
Hey; Vsauce-Michael here.
This is fish and chips. "Chips?"-you might ask...
Welcome to England Mr. Regular, I hope your time here is fun.
Regards, J.
Welcome tae Britain Mr Regular! Glad your enjoying our national delicacy!
Is the mk2 or mk3 jaguar XJ6/12 going by at 0:13 and 0:15 a clue?
I had fish and chips when I visited my family in London and yes, it is a spiritual experience.
You can get fish and chips like that in Kearny NJ.
Glad to see you're settling in nicely in the UK! 🙂

WHY DO I ALWAYS WATCH VIDEOS OF PEOPLE EATING WHEN I'M HUNGRY!!!
Really, really weird seeing you eat at my local chippy. Awesome!
I really want fish and chips now. Like, good fish and chips like that was. I could almost smell it just looking at it.
Fish and chips in the UK is miles above the stuff they peddle here. If I ever make it back to England, I'll probably gain fifty pounds.
KayakTN for a second I thought you were on about money...

Regular finds the single not trash food of the U.K.
Living on the South Coast of England our fish and chips is fresh and popular with tourists 👍 🐟 🍟
Any news on an RCR uk meet up? The weather this weekend is looking suitably grey.
You need to have them up north - try Grimsby, Whitby or Fraserburgh if you get the chance!
Michigander here- gravy and fries is a thing. A wonderful thing.
Those are some good looking fish and chips. Where in the U.K.? I must travel to this place. P.s I am British but there are also some bad chippy's here!
I feel like Mr. Regular would play an alien, attempting to fit into human society very well. Lmao
A Mr. Regular/Chicken Connoisseur collab would be a seriously peng ting.

The British are known for many cuisines you can try when you are there like [insert British food here] or [insert British food here].
That little thing is called a fork, it is commonly used to transport food to your mouth.
A RegularVlog for this trip would be amazing
It is British tradition to buy fish and chips and eat it on a brick wall somewhere.
Surprising that someone who lives in the north east hasn't had good fish and chips but I guess that's because I'm on the coast and I forget that there are massive chunks of these states that are nowhere near the sea.
I'm a regular youtube viewer, i see a redhead, i eat my fish and chips.
The thumbnail made Mr. Regular look like Vsauce.
so glad you popped your fish and chips cherry 😊
Fish and chips is only good when you get it from the right place, with good well prepared fresh fish
Enjoy your time in the UK :)
Feel free to come for a cup of tea!
Few things are better than good fish and chips. I can't speak for British-style fish and chips but Boston beer-battered fish and chips is one of my favorite foods of all time.
Wishing I'd put my name forward to drive my AW11 now. Drafted an email and everything. Looking forward to this UK series!
Need a MR. Regular review of the fish and chips.
