This song is very touching :( She released this song back in 2004 after she beated cancer a year before.
I downloaded this song with dial-up back in the day. I was ecstatic when the download finished after 2 hours.
You must be kidding. This is her second album. So you should have been using ADSL instead of the dial up. My guess. I could be wrong though. I remember where I bought this Album of hers but I am just not that sure when. Would have been after 2003 but before 2006. Gee. My fading memory of the past. Seems like all the pleasant memories were fading away faster than I grew old. It was a peaceful quiet time and I really didn't need anything anyone to feel that I enjoyed every single seconds when I listened to her songs. Well. I was not completely right in eating that. I did need a car because I really only listen to music in the car. Lol
@@shenghan9385 Nah really, I switched to ADSL in 2007 or so. Only the richer people in my area had ADSL in 2004-05, when her second album came out (or whatever this one was). Btw, I meant I downloaded the VIDEO, not the audio of the song. Videos took a long time to download.

@@Time_Developer It depended on the person or company. Schools and businesses in Australia had broadband from 2002 or so. But homes , depending on their budget, tended to have dialup up until 2006. I switched in that year. Australia is shitty with internet connection anyway. Lol. We're among the worst and have the slowest internet.
P.S. By "downloaded the song" I meant I downloaded the VIDEO, not the music.

My aunt died, a few years ago from breast cancer... I loved her so much, and she was just as beautiful as Delta! Delta reminds me so much of my aunt, and lights up my world...

Here. Call me mad. I don't think I ever worried or thought about when was going to be my last. So I think I should not really be able to understand this song, understand what she had gone through. But I really do feel I can relate to it. I was just happy that she was OK. And I don't know why, I must have bought the CD of this song in a single as well as the album.

When my two young daughters showed interest in piano she's one of the best role models I could think of.
This song came out just as I was in my final few weeks of highschool. It gave me so much warmth n assurance that everything will be okay during my transition from a teen to a young adult. that was nearly 18yrs ago. I still revisit this song every once in a while to give me that nostalgic feel.
The line "I can't believe that this happened so soon" breaks me. I don't think I ever connected with an artist more than I did with Delta
Yes and she writes almost all her songs herself. It’s very clear most or if not all of her songs are personal. She wrote this one during her cancer battle.

This song was all I'd play in Christmas 2004. Her Album "Mistaken Identity" was a Christmas present from my Mum. I snuck it out from my Mums bedroom, I'd listen to it, then put it back. One day just before Christmas, my Mum caught me. She wasn't happy LOL. She said "Now you haven't got a Christmas present to open up now" 😂😂. 14 years later, I'm 30. Ugh.. 😂😂
