This song was part of my childhood.
When I was a kid, I listened every day through a tablet, but it stopped working after a few days. I searched for 10 years and found it now. Thank you so much for singing this song.
That’s how I found her. This video at that. I was floored. I then searched web fast for higher quality audio - led me to UA-cam of course.

Yep sure does, she needs a breakthrough song to hit US/ world market as her songs sound very adult contemporary not so much pop RnB mainstream which appeal more to US - it took Kylie Minogue years to break USA with CGYOMH in 2001.
I think she's better being like that, US market couldn't easily leave an Australian artist to evolve and she wouldn't have the support of american media. Many people from foreign countries have discovered her and everyone who's meant to, will discover her too. :)

I reckon this would have done well in the UK if it had been released here. Delta is just amazing. I met her in London last year as I was lucky enough to attend a secret show she was putting on. There was 40 of us in the room and she went around and spoke to every single one of us, signed CDs and had selfies with everyone. A lovely lovely person...how many celebs would do that for their fans eh? Best day of my life!

I noticed Australian performers are generally very humble and willing to engage with their fans. Natalie Imbruglia is another such person. And they all give very good live performances, not singing out of tune or mumbling.

I understand how that feels. I had to wait around 11 years for Delta's song "Together We Are One" to be available as a digital song in the US. There were also a few songs that were played on the soap opera Days of Our Lives back in the early 90s that I loved and didn't know who sang them. More than ten years later I found out that one of them was the "The Long Way Home" by Bob Seger. The other song, I assumed would be out of print. But one day, decades (possibly as much as 30+ years) after I first heard the song, I did a search on Amazon mp3 music app. When I saw the name Gladys Knight attached to what I thought was the song title, "In This Life". I had a good feeling that I finally found the song after decades. I was right.

To sound corny when I found out in late 2019 that I had grade 1 breast cancer and I was going home from the specialist this song came on the radio and I started to cry to realise that this is the most deep and meaningful song more than it was the first time I heard it... It is a song that can mean alot of different things to everyone... And Delta rocks Aussie Music xx

When I was in college as a joke, we matched up one of our mate's birthday with a bunch of female celebrities, on an astrology site and send the result to him on his birthday saying "Which one do you want to fuck!!!" and he also, send our readings back to us, via email, Delta Goodrem was actually on the list of celebrities we got, we were laughing when we saw my reading that match up with her, because it say we will either be a couple or business partner and I was laughing saying "yeah, right, I am going to meet a pop icon just wondering around the street, what do I look like to you, a stalker?"
And then it start getting kinda freaky. About 3 years ago, she had a free appearance at the suburb I live in. Wow, now this is getting really freaky. So, a week before she came, I check my dog into the doggie motel with the vet and then book a motel room in the city, and on Friday night I check into the motel and didn't come home till Sunday. I still remember the date that WTF situation happen, 30th April, 2016

When I was growing up my Mum used to play Olivia's "Let Me be there" as our song. She picked a song for all of her 4 children /adults. I aways thought I would pass it down however I used to play this song when at home and whilst receiving treatment for Leukaemia at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, just as Delta was diagnosed a few years earlier with Hodkin's Lymphoma. As I was diagnosed late I was told I would have a very slim chance of conceiving however I am now a proud Mother of a 7 year old girl and this is her song.
