Just wanted to say thank you for doing this video. I used to live in Pensacola several years ago and I left my heart there when I moved back to Texas. It has been about 3 years since I've been able to go back for vacation. Been missing it a lot here lately. So thank you!! I needed to see the place that will always have my heart.
I was in Pensacola once and I did not have a chance to see around downtown. However, now I am able to see downtown thanks to you. Greetings from Turkey!
You know what Adam, whenever I watch these wonderful vids you make, I just want to jump in my truck and go exploring here in Nevada. And hopefully by next Summer I'll get down into your parts. I got a little taste of Florida when my dad packed us kids in his El Camino and we drove from Phoenix all the way to Fort Lauderdale to visit my Aunt. I remember stopping in Gulf Breeze and we stayed in a Holiday Inn there. Good memories! There is nothing I don't like about your vids, keep 'em coming.
Great to see you and Abby out and about on another adventure , downtown Pensacola looks so lovely , so much to see and do . Love seeing the fun place you two go to and share with the rest of us ...
I grew up in Pensacola in the mid 70's....we lived there 5 years at that time..I live in Ohio now...been in Ohio since 1978...now I'm thinking of moving bk to Pensacola...think I might in another year or two....these videos have inspired me.....
I've been living in Nebraska for 22 years now but I'm getting tired of dealing with the snowy weather.. The cold air is fine to deal with but the snow is the worst. I'm wanting to move to Florida but I know I have to save up a lot of money before moving
You guys are coming into your own and getting really natural at the adventuring videos. When we have a great time through you, it says a lot about how well you're doing. Thanks for the ride.
Thanks! I really am enjoying these types of video shares. At least on this channel I feel like I can be more creative with sharing the non machining related content.
Thanks for the video, Pensacola looks to be the neat and cleanest city I have seen in a long time. Man you make good and interesting videos on both your channels, enjoy them both.
Hey Adam, I enjoyed this video a lot! Been a long time since I've been to Pensacola, but it used to be one of my old stomping grounds. Spent many of days there.
Thanks Russ! it's fun getting out on the town and getting my mind of shop work once in a while, but bringing the camera along is still fun! I made a bbq video today too.
Awesome, I'm looking forward to watching the BBQ video! I'm not firing up any smokers this weekend. Actually doing a hot dog recipe lol! My hot dog videos have actually done pretty well in the past and it's been I know 3 years since I've done one, so today is the day.
Lovely city you live in.Also enjoy seeing you together.Really impressed with Abby's boot selection And as a Frogophile myself am pleased to see her taken with the sculpture.
This is great Adam - the first time I have had any idea much at all of Pensacola and its character. Fascinating place and very pleasant indeed. Some great architecture.
The downtown area is great! Other parts of the city not so much, like any other town America really. The coastal areas and beaches are the most pretty.
Nice video been thinking of relocating to Pensacola FL. I'm in Maine burr, have lived in Fort Lauderdale 3 years ago and now that both my parents are no longer with me and have passed i am seeking a warmer spot to land. Ty for showing folks around. I will bring my art career down and also love the Blue Angles. Cheers
It certainly looks like a great place to live. If i didn't already have a good home here in Texas it would be a great place to relocate. Thanks again Adam . Refreshing to see with winter coming on.
At 3:51 that big tall warehouse looking building, did that used to be an ice house? It reminds me of the one in Louisville that was. Big business in the days before refrigeration! Thanks for the tour.
me and my wife are thinking of moving to pensacola florida this video helped me a little to figure out how its like there I'm living in philadelphia now so i'm sure it will be a huge change for us.
Cool video! I have a dream to visit Pensacola someday. Is food expensive? must be great food and amazing places to eat! I subescribed! I am in Brazil and I feel I have leraned about Pensacola a lot! Thanks!
Great video, lived there (Pensacola) as a kid. Remember a school field trip to that old house, plus two museums in the area. Thanks for taking me back!
Lol, that’s funny the first neon light on Hop Jacks was Rogue. Which started being brewed in the Rogue River valley in southern Oregon. Where I’m from.. Small world...
It looks like a great town. A few years ago I was in Destin. If I had seen this video back then, I would have driven over to see your area. Keep having fun.
Hey Adam, I am thinking about moving to Pensacola, and was wondering if you have any impressions about life in Pensacola after the pandemic. Thanks for the great video.
I am a life long native of Pensacola, but it is my dream to get out of here! Unless you have a nice boat, love going to the beach, or love drinking beer.....there is not much going on here, and many areas of Pensacola are going downhill fast! Plus, from June to October, it is hot as hell, and very muggy. It has always seemed as if the officials are only concerned with the appearance and diversity of downtown, and not the surrounding areas........what a pity!
Boring, unless like to constantly party, and then the boring can be wicked as hell. Definitely convinced that wicked good around here. Unless in the military? Guess what? Are not. I'm sure that every corrupted dark soul is convinced that wicked good.
Really nice town and not crowded with people or traffic it seems. But the best I’d say that it is all kept clean and nice. Some towns and cities I visit look like rubbish dumps....
The city leaders need to look at other big cities like Denver and adopt various forms of ez transportation like scooters and electric bikes. Area bars need to start adding rooftop decks too.
It's no longer there but the building is. They put up a cast iron marker outside the building to commemorate Trader John and the business. Much of his stuff can be seen in the TT Wentworth museum.
Weird...I'm originally fr Kansas City. Huge Royals/Chiefs/Jayhawks fan...Lived in PCola fr 05-09. I ran around with my backwards Royals blue fitted hat on those years. Go Chiefs! Finally. Moved back KC in Jan 09. But My girlfriend and I took our 2 kids back to PCola/Destin couple weeks every summer fr 09-16. I was in PCola during Royals crazy win streak mid-late August 2014 that got us a WildCard.
@@Hank760 I use to live in Pensacola and I remember that there was a Hilton Hotel close to the big convention center. Is it still there? I left there in 1999, I.m sure that there are lots of changes since then. I live in Chico, California now . If I could move back there I would but due to circumstances I can't.
You know, not all of us gave great girlfriends! You could have slowed that camera pan a little when passing by the 'barmaids' for us underprivileged viewers! Nice video!
Was meeting some friends at the big park there one day and my gf took pictures of these weird looking squirrels, and this homeless guy started getting real crazy saying we were taking pictures of him and stuff. Gotta love Pensacola
@Jonathan Kim That's mainly in West Pensacola and East Hill. I stay away from those areas. Other than that, it's a great place to live. I've lived here for 19 years (I'm 19) and I still love it
Unfortunately, no. It closed for good in 2003. But the building has a historical landmarker. From what I understand, all the stuff will be used as decoration for the cafeteria at the new Maritime Museum.
This video is a year old. Some of it is no longer accurate. Personal opinion - Hopjacks Service is extremely slow. They only have one pizza oven. Be prepared to waaaaaaait. Beef O’Bradys closed about six weeks ago and has been replaced by Cactus Cantina, great Mexican food. Vinyl Music Hall showcases some big names passing through on their way to some place large. Great video y’all. Thanks. I’ve lived here since 1990 and I would never consider living anywhere else. That art gallery is now closed. It used to be Dollarhide’s Music Store. They retired. Fred Levin has his name on the University of Florida’s School of Law. He should, after a $10M donation! Joe Patti’s Seafood is a destination fish market. They ship, too.

Great video man! My wife and I were actually married in 2015 in the church across from barktoberfest hahaha
Lol, that’s funny the first neon light on Hop Jacks was Rogue. Which started being brewed in the Rogue River valley in southern Oregon. Where I’m from..
Small world...
How cool!
Great video. I lived in that area years ago looking to return after retirement, this helps to solidify my decision.
I want to hang with you guys! Considering Pensacola as a place to live. Thank you!
I think it’s a good place to live with much to offer along the gulf coast. It’s definitely more crowded than it used to be though.
Neat place , thanks for sharing.
Great share Adam & Abby ! thanks ..

Stephanie Robinson I’m from Pensacola & moved! It’s boring there!
If you lived in the Pensacola area, where can you co for theater and concerts? Where would you have to travel to to see live performances ?
That's what I thought
Boring, unless like to constantly party, and then the boring can be wicked as hell. Definitely convinced that wicked good around here. Unless in the military? Guess what? Are not. I'm sure that every corrupted dark soul is convinced that wicked good.
Kheilee said to tell you that "I really liked watching your video Uncle Adam" 👧🏼👍🏻
Tell her I said thank you
Great job you guys! Quick question. Do you like beer? ;)

Cool! be sure to visit the beaches while your here also.
Abom79 it looks very different to the other parts of FL I have visited, so I'm quite looking forward to the visit.
Really nice town and not crowded with people or traffic it seems.
But the best I’d say that it is all kept clean and nice.
Some towns and cities I visit look like rubbish dumps....
Yes downtown is really nice and they keep it clean and alive with business. We have our bad areas too just like any other city.
The city leaders need to look at other big cities like Denver and adopt various forms of ez transportation like scooters and electric bikes. Area bars need to start adding rooftop decks too.
Don’t let it fool you. It’s extremely crowded here.
Born and raised I don’t find many UA-camrs in Pensacola nice video

It's no longer there but the building is. They put up a cast iron marker outside the building to commemorate Trader John and the business. Much of his stuff can be seen in the TT Wentworth museum.
Nice hat! Maybe me being from Independence MO makes me biased. I bet Abbie had something to do with picking that out.
Ace looks like your dog.

Do they have gambling machines or casino or places like that in Pensacola

Don't
Hey, Adam what's the music name ??
Please do some more videos of Pensecola.
You know, not all of us gave great girlfriends! You could have slowed that camera pan a little when passing by the 'barmaids' for us underprivileged viewers! Nice video!

I sure miss Hop Jacks.
What a beautiful place to live man.
Where is the new puppy ?? lol
Empty sidewalks--kinda creepy. Is that due to time of day or the rain? Also, face diapers??
Is trader johns still there
Unfortunately, no. It closed for good in 2003. But the building has a historical landmarker. From what I understand, all the stuff will be used as decoration for the cafeteria at the new Maritime Museum.
There’s a special section in the TT Wentworth museum dedicated to Trader Johns. They have a lot of the artifacts there on display.
Why do you always post a video about good food when I am hungry? My stomach is growling now!
Mine too!
Aren't we always hungry! LOL
