Man, these guys are still amazing. Swoon practically changed my life and I can still listen to their new stuff and get the same feeling. You can't say that about a lot of bands that have been around as long as The Pickups.

The structure of the beat changed, but the pace didn't. I've never heard that in any other song I've listened to. This caught more than my attention.
Man I waited every day since the moment y'all posted that "6" was coming in 2022. While you sang about missing the mark, you certainly didn't. Lovely song, congratulations and I can't wait to see y'all in concert 😋
It's so refreshing to have a band like SSPU: a band that actually bothers to progress between albums as opposed to making the same album each time whilst proclaiming it to be the "best thing they've ever done".

I kind of feel like a funky piece of each of them drives the next direction and the ones that last are the ones that change….PAUL MCCARTNEY, PRINCE, MADONNA, LED ZEPPELIN, ELVIS, MJ, GREEN DAY, ELTON JOHN, SLASH, COREY TAYLOR, ETC. Okay I’m just gonna stop there.
@@kidrenegade8525 They're saying they like that the band is evolving album to album in a very clear way, trying different sounds and styles rather than trying to re-create Carnavas over and over again "but better" because it sold so well. Many bands are guilty of that way of thinking and I don't think it's always a good thing.

I love how Silver Sun Pickups can make songs that sound like two different songs in one. Really shows how creative they are. And they still stay true to their sound since Carnavas.
How do they do it?! Every time, every album, it's amazing. They always sound the same, yet every album has a different sound. It's incredible.
You always surprise me with every new release. This one sounds awesone, so haunting and different. And those changes, what a ride! I just loved it. I'm counting the days until the release of the new album.

This is one of those songs that feels a lot longer than it actually is. The slow-fast-slow tempo and that wah-wah sound tricks your mind into thinking that you are listening to a few different songs rolled into one. It takes you along for the ride. This quality contributes to that mysterious and intriguing aura around Silversun Pickups.

Every new album by you guys is a cause for excitement and you have never disappointed.

This is my favorite band, has been since I first hear Lazy Eye on MTV. They constantly reinvent themselves with different sound yet when you hear them you know who it is. They are also in a short list of bands without a single bad song.

Been a hardcore fan since the guitar hero days. sspu will always be in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. This song, while very different, I LOVE the chorus and I absolutely fucking LOVE how just about every song they put out sounds so different from the last. Cannot wait for the new album. I can't find the right word to describe this band! I adore them, I carry them in my heart and in my very soul. They are original, creative, surprisingly different and modern. This song proves once again that they can take us there or did not think to go yet. We broadcast the song on our independent radio station

Silversun Pickups, YOU fkn Rock! I've been a huge fan for quite some time now. I remember the free concert back in 2009? in St. Louis, Missouri. Soldier Memorial Field, it was such an awesome show even though it was cut short because of the incoming storm. Right before you guys were told to stop the show, all of the lightning from the distance provided such an bad ass natural light show. I have been to each St. Louis show and we all appreciate you guys stopping into our city so thank you!
I was at the last one which was at the Pageant, and again it was great! I was standing about 5 feet from the front of the stage on Joe's side. You guys always have such great energy, Brian always seems to be in such a chill mood and really loves chatting it up with us in the audience. Such a great act, talented members, and a great time! Thanks SSP, can't wait for the next show that I get the chance to go!

Silversun pickups have such an a unique sound. It's rock but not. Alternative but not the traditional alternative you'd hear on the radio. Something about it is just a little different then anything and it stays the same across all their music

I had no idea a new album was coming out in two days. So excited! This sounds great. I have every album and can't wait for this one. "Kissing Families" is still SSPU best song...
My heart raced when I saw pop up and man was I not disappointed. The sound is very much SSPU, yet totally new. The video does this dope track justice, and dials up the already wild sound especially in the middle section where they bring the noise. The measure of a great band is how they mature, while still keeping close to their roots, and SSPU are getting better all the time. Can't wait for the rest of the album!
