    Mike is quite honestly the best educator in the world - I am on Drumeo and Mike Lessons (both are great services, you should join either or both) - but Mike is just the best educator - thanks Mike - bought the cymbals

    i must say this is one of the best cymbals review. Very well described, and sounds awesome!! time to spend money on them lol

    His signature cymbal isn't his favorite cymbal of all time? Lol. Cause the transition ride is up there for me. Either the transition ride, 22 inch extra dry medium ride, or the Matt Garstka fat stack.

      @iDrumLikeCrazy 6 років тому

      Andy Ham dude sick choices I went from the transition ride to the 22 extra dry medium! Both are awesome. I want to switch to the 22 vintage pure light ride some time

      @andyham6094 6 років тому

      iDrumLikeCrazy yeah man I also wanna add the 22 inch sand ride in there as well. Just got that loving the bell and crashability on that baby. But for live those don’t cut it for me and use the serpents ride or the 22 inch traditional medium ride to cut through the loud band. But the Matt Garstka fat stack is def my favorite cymbal of all time.

    Can you really call a cymbal "free" when the entire set costs $1200?

    • @meinlpurealloychina227
      @meinlpurealloychina227 6 років тому +15

      Cam White I never believe the whole “free crash” stuff. It’s all just buzz words. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great pack, but it angers me when they use “free” when it really isn’t.

      Cam White That’s what I was gonna say!

    • @flavanthensome
      @flavanthensome 6 років тому +29

      Cam White well if all the other ones add up to $1200 when bought individually then, YES. You can call it free.

      if you bought all the cymbals without the crash would cost as much as this set, at least I think

    • @chrisiorio5278
      @chrisiorio5278 6 років тому +14

      It is simple. Hats, ride, and 20" crash add up to 1200. You would pay more if the 18" was not considered free. It may be a buzz word, but it does not lie.

    do you think these would be good for a worship set

    • @rewelldrums
      @rewelldrums 2 роки тому +1

      Yes although I will say the 18 inch crash youll have to ask them to turn up if your in a cage

    I love this pack but the top hat is rather thin and I broke it quite fast. Maybe it was bad technique but now I just flipped it and it feels like a new set again. Lol!

    "You get this crash for free when you purchase this box set." No you don't. It's included in the price of the ($1529) box set, just like the rest of the cymbals are.

    funniest thing about sweetwater and thier shipping process i order, 2 silent stroke drum heads one 22in and one 14 in then 2 hours later order 3 pairs of sticks, all on the same day all in stock but guess what my two heads still have not left IN and the sticks are going to be here in a couole hours lol what

    • @RoeShamBoe
      @RoeShamBoe 7 років тому +1

      Glenn Valenza make sure to use a patch for your beater on that silent stroke bass drum head... its thinner than a normal head and your beater WILL go right throught it

    That 18" crash is too dry. It has hardly any sound. If you crashed it with a live band, it would be basically non-existent. It sounds OK when you' re playing a solo, but with a band, forget it...
