You guys are having too much fun I enjoy your videos Dan from Arkansas said that got your Jeep looking good old Big Bird 👌
I hope Justine feels better soon 👍 I love seeing the CRV do the impossible 🤘
She’s all good now, she’ll be back in the next trail video
Your videos are a great mix of useful/fun commentary and "shut up and just show me the trail" Great work! One day I'll get a rig of my own and join you guys.
Thanks man lol I try to make it fun to watch
Always fun to watch you play.
That CRV is a beast! Love the Videos man keep it up!
Thanks man!
That’s a pretty good trail and you didn’t break nothing good job😊
Definitely a good time
Love the positive vibe!
That crv is everything!!!!!!!!!
It’s definitely a good time having it on the trail
Bad rad cap can also cause over heating, easy and cheap to try first before the clutch and water pump, enjoy the videos, this looks like a fun trail indeed, no real drama but plenty of small challenges
Hmm why not I guess it’s an easy enough fix. Thanks for the tip
I love this trail. Its entertaining, but it won't damage your rig. The rocky water crossings are a bit unnerving if you don't have a strong diff cover to protect from impacts.
I agree it’s hard to avoid rocks you can’t see. But the trail is super easy and lots of fun
😮 I hope your camera girl didn't join the writers stike(😅) ,but do wish she feels better. Like always great vid!!! 👌
Haha no writers here so she’ll be back soon
Favorite UA-camr posted😁😁😁
Thanks really appreciate it!!
Have you ever thought about putting in lockers for front and rear? Im not sure what kind of job it would be or a price because I have never done anything like that. Im fairly new to jeeping with an 04 TJ. But I bet if you had lockers it would put the Bird BEAST MODE!
Ya I’ve definitely thought about it. I think if I can I want to find some Dana 44s and then lock those if they don’t have lockers already just for strength and to be able to run larger tires
Hey I enjoyed your video alot hope to see more, my 4x4s are stock as well an 85 Nissan pickup, a 95 pathfinder, and 01 Isuzu trooper all stock, haven't gone 4wheelin yet with them
good call waiting on Greens Mountain...... Have done it in a side by side. Pretty tuff trail a few near death obstacles in a jeep im sure.
Ya I’ve heard some horror stories lol
4.0's are known to over heat when the clutch fan does more clutch than fan. I have replaced 2 on my TJ in less than a year. When you spin it with your hand it should have a lot of resistance.
Ya I replaced mine earlier this year too. I’ll mention it to him
Another great trail, thanks for sharing it. I miss your pretty camera partner!
Haha she’ll be back soon!
Could be a fan clutch, I switched to a severe duty clutch for the area I live. My 05 LJ overheated a bit on me at idle with the AC on and I changed it out.
I had overheating issues like that with Bad Yeti
It was the fan clutch not functioning and also using the air conditioner
Ya he was running the AC I’ll mention it to him
New sub. Great video's!
Thanks man!
Nice day on the trail, glad to see no damage. I’d like to do that trail sometime. I’m trying to figure out which way you went to exit the trail from that spot where you were airing up at the end.
That’s just a fire road that connects to the trail
50 shades of brown 😂🤙🏼
Hey man. Good video. Can't wait to see more of them trails. I live in central NY and I feel ya with the paper straws and shit. It's absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe the USA leads the way in stupidity and other countries just follow our lead 😂😂. I mean we have plastic cups, plastic tops and the stupid straw is paper... I mean wtf?!?! If u don't slam the drink the straw never lasts. And we haven't had bags in our stores in years and just recently they offer us paper bags but charge 5 cents ea. I just throw everything in my car without bags fuck it.. lol Anyway...keep the videos coming man
Haha thanks man!
If done, the clutch on the radiator's fan could cause overheating, particularly in a trail.
I have a spare we could try swapping them out and see if it helps. Thanks for the advice
Gonna take my GT500 out there 😅😂
Lol call me I’ll pull you out when you’re done
Do you have tips on cleaning the radiator and alternator after crossing deep muddy water?
I just spray mine out with a water hose or pressure washer from a distance
This is the perfect trail for folks that don’t want to scratch their rides.,.
Yup
Hey Smokin, I heard you mention Goderich. Is that trail you're on anywhere near there as I am old school 80's kid from East York. Lol
No I was mistaken Goderich is the opposite direction. This was near gooderham Ontario
I’m in the Pacific Northwest/cascade mountains in Oregon where you at ?
Ontario Canada
does that xterra not have 4 low? seems under powered at times
That one’s a pathfinder so I’m not sure to be honest
I’ve been thinking lifting my jlu but my wife would kill me 😅 it’s our family vehicle.
You buy her the same size heals as your lift and give them to her the day you lift it and say nothing
Haha 😂 yesss Smart man , I’ll give it a try ,
can you add new bumpers and tires and wheels to gladiator
Tires and wheels are already done but I like my bumpers so those are staying
but add a winch from warn
I will eventually
Gotta fix that squeal my boy
Not sure if it’s the belt or the pulley but I replaced the belt earlier this year and the pulley a month ago so I don’t even know where to look at this point lol
@@SmokinMonkeyOG I would look at the belt because mine was making the same noise and I replaced the belt and the noise stopped. I would also check your water pump because I’ve been looking on forums and that’s the most common reason for that squeal
@manualtuning5222 just replaced the water pump as well actually but I have a spare tensioner I can try that and if that doesn’t work I can get the belt
@@SmokinMonkeyOG yeah thats another cause is the tensioner isnt moving freely, causing the belt to bind up and squeal
I just said wonder if smokin monkey has posted lately! Welp yes
Haha your monkey senses were tingling you say
