Sorry to hear about your cat Mike. 19 years is a great run.
Thanks man!
Keep up with that awesome attitude, man. You ride big bird hard so it’s almost inevitable that things will break, but that’s kind of the theme of the channel and why I tune in. This is like wheeling education
Shout out to Justine for that adorable snort. I think you have a good one there. Also, I’m sorry to hear about your cat. She seemed like a good friend
Thanks man I appreciate that! I try not break it every time but it’s fun to go hard so what can I say. lol you gotta pay to play right
My wife and I love your videos. We always look forward to watching them. After we found your channel, we went back and watched them all! Keep on sending it and putting out the great content! Oh and really sorry to hear about your cat 😢
Thanks!! I’ll keep em coming. & I appreciate it
Glad to see as always your videos. Sorry about the rear end fail. Anyway, glad you took this as a fun party. It was great to see and hear Justine laughing with you, seeming impossible to breath . Hervé, from France.
Sorry for your loss of your pet. Thank you for the entertaining videos. Good luck with the repairs.
Thank you!!
Brotha! Sorry about the rough day! You and Justine are awesome. Keep up the smiles!!
Thanks!!
Good video to watch , while I'm drinking my morning coffee.. thanks!
Thanks lol
that snort laughing - love it!! Holla when you come to Alberta, would love to hit the trails with ya'll!
Sounds good! Would love to make my way out there sometime
Great video, I just bought a 2002 tj and it is awesome! It needs work its slowly getting there 👌
Love the laugh/snort!!
Time for that Dana 44 you mentioned wanting way back in the day? All Australian Jeeps - even the base model - come with 44 rears. Jeep knew the lighter rear wouldn't cut it here. Surprised they didn't do the same for Canada tbh.
Honestly lol that would’ve saved me a ton of stress
A lot better when wife or girlfriend likes mudding to, the wife has a 2001 yellow TJ just like yours she calls it Bumblebee , we both have Jeeps
That’s the goal one day!
Thanks Mike for explaining everything what happens pretty out there the trees are pretty is in Arkansas too you guys be safe. DAN
Live and Learn Bro, All in good fun! Great Video! looking forward to the next one!
Yup lol thanks!!
I really like the part where your girl was laughing at you with mud on your face 😅😅
Her too lol 😂
Skip the spider gears just throw lunchbox locker in the rear
Just as easy as replacing the spider gears and you have a Locker now
Ya I hear you there
@@SmokinMonkeyOG what I run in mine cheap and easy especially since it’s a toy
I have daily a few of mine like that. Also welded. But don’t recommend that one
I actually found a limited slip carrier for now so that’s a step in the right direction at least lol
what a day, sorry for your lost and be safe.
Honestly lol thanks man
Oh shit man. Rip to the cat. So sad to hear that brother. ❤️❤️
Thanks bro!
sorry about your cat and jeep . hopefully things get better soon.
Thanks man!
🙏So sorry to hear about your cat SM 😿 Thanx for another great vid😎👍
Thanks I appreciate it!
Time to find a junkyard Dana 44 for the rear
Ya I think so lol
2:45 the rear end left the chat
I’ll be back this weekend for redemption haha 😂
so sorry to hear about your kitty… 🩷
Thank you!
The beauty of mud is that everything that lives poops, peeps and barfs in it, which is why it taste like chocolate, yum yum. Sorry about your cat it is always tough to lose a pet. Just go to the midnight auto parts store and get yourself a dana 44 and stop pissing around with that 35. Time and money you've already spent on parts, time and tows you've already bought one! All the years I've been wheeling the only thing I've lost is my mind and that can't be too serious because no one seems to notice!
Lmao I totally agree I need to upgrade asap. I was lucky to get the parts I needed donated to me by a friend so I have it fixed now with a limited slip. But I’ll be saving for the new axle believe me lol
Well at least you have it fixed and the limited slip will do better than an open differential. Another video next weekend then.@@SmokinMonkeyOG
@stephenwest798 I’ll have one out sooner since I have repairs lol so next video this weekend
Have a blast and try not to get muddy! LOL@@SmokinMonkeyOG
"DANA, not a sponsor!"
Damn that Would be nice lol
Ah chain-drive t-cases.
Cheap parts.
I got lucky my buddy has one I can use
Weld up them spider gears
I rather not start breaking shafts
Chromolly shafts rarely break if you stick with that size rear end go with chromolly same for your front end. BTW your new ujoints probably need greased after being stuck in water like you were peace out PS mechanics that told you go with non greasable ujoints probably aren't off roaders, keep up your good attitude have fun get your rearend locked up you won't need to send it
I hear you, but if I’m gonna be putting all that work into the axles getting chrome shafts, I’d rather just get new axles and the Dana 35s are not that great to be putting money into. The guy told me to use non-gable joints, not only ran an off-road only shop. He was a sponsor for all the off-road events and races in our area.
sorry about your cat
Thanks man
just send it
Is there any other way
im sorry about your cat pets are family and it sucks so bad when they go im sorry
Thank you!!
I love animals more than humans so I know hard hard it is to lose a pet. Sorry Mike.
Same here lol thanks man!
Bro you broke because your not locked when you send it with one wheel spinning hard and it catches traction its trying pass that tork on through axle ring pinion flang drive line transfer case etc. When your locked up all those components are working together and you wouldn't be sending it as hard even when you upgrade and it has open diff weld it up until you can get a locker as far as axles go ask me later easy fix you don't have to listen or trust me but I've been jeeping longer than you have been alive and worked with a much smaller budget than you (I make MacGyver look bad) you can never brake as much as I have or come up with trail fixes to get home im just trying to help fir what its worth have fun peace out✌✌🚜
That’s all good and well if you don’t have a Dana 35 everybody that I know that has a Dana 35 and locked. It goes through axle shaft like nothing I’d rather still be able to keep a wheel on and drive home or at least get pulled out of the trail and not be worried about my wheel coming off every 10 feet.
Yikes sounds pretty cooked…..
Ya it’s not pretty lol
But I can get it fixed sooner that you would think
Watching now, sounds bad from the title...
Ya it wasn’t pretty lol
Wow, you guys are so hard core, I love it! I was grinning from ear to ear when your beautiful lady was laughing and snorting, that was so funny! "I can't breathe" priceless...
Looking forward to the diagnosis and repair. BTW, you should be able to repair the sealing surfaces on those pitted axles with a stainless steel speedi-sleeve and make them as good as new for very little $$. @@SmokinMonkeyOG
@artillerybuff2000 thanks! That’s a great tip I might give it a shot
ugrade the differential, you causing yourself to much greif running those horseshit d35's they piss me off
Ya I’m with you there, this time I got a limited slip for the rear end from a friend so I’ll run that till I save up enough for the Dana 44
@@SmokinMonkeyOG Could possibly get a set of 44's of a tj rubi and the t case, I would look for that combo if thats what you ended up needing. Of course always make sure youre drain lines from diffs and tranny/transfer case all way up out of the slop.
