- With access to a big bag of clump foliage, I decided it was time to make some trees.
Materials:
- clump foliage - any kind will work (the one I use was from Taobao, e.g., something like this: item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=6...)
- BBQ skewers
- green scour pads (e.g., www.scotch-brite.com/3M/en_US...)
- metal discs
- hot glue, PVA (white glue) and acrylic paint
Great trees . The green pad underneath is genius and should allow the foliage to actually stick instead of falling off. Links to supplies in the description next time please .
Thanks for the feedback. I'll add the supplies in the description, but it's all store-bought (except the clump foliage, from Taobao, which I know you can't always access in other places around the world).
Wonderful video, love the vibe and encouragement to actual hobby!
Thanks! I've been traveling in China and unable to access UA-cam over the past few days, not to mention my hobby table. But back home tomorrow and more stuff coming soon!
Love the tutorial Tiff- I will definitely borrow from this one in future!
Thanks Craig, and when I need bunkers I am borrowing your recent one too :)
Also, thanks for the tip on The Terrain Tutor. I'd forgotten about his excellent terrain videos.
