As others are saying, prolly the only vid of a de/dm starting up. The mta likes to idle them. Wish it was uncut but still super cool. Didn't know they beep like a car either. Love the sounds!
I never heard the sound effect of the Long Island Railroad Diesel locomotive starting up before!!!!!! Not only that I hear background cars, trucks or vans, and sometimes rv's or buses starting up!!!!! I usually hear the Long Island Railroad Diesel locomotive's engine still running on

Wow. Last time I saw a DE startup was in 2006. I think that made me start looking into these locomotives
