- Caitriona Balfe ('Outlander') reveals 'This is a very different side of Claire this season' in a new chat with Gold Derby editor Rob Licuria and contributor Amanda Spears. In “Outlander” Balfe plays Claire Randall, a married nurse in 1945. After being mysteriously transported back in time to the rugged highlands of 1743 Scotland, she falls in love with rough diamond Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and they embark on a journey that will take them back and forth between centuries and continents.

I don’t care how upset people are about the truth. I’m a big fan of Caitriona and I hope to God, there’s a new hairstylist in her immediate future. The bangs are too short and contrived and the length of the hair is also short, without any style. Truth is, looks like a 10 yr old cut her hair. I’m not being rude, I’m being honest.
