I love that the interviewer knows what she says and what she asks. It's not some pretentious host that says I'm a fan but actually saw one episode.
Yeah, yeah,yeah. Jamie is a BIG man who faints and throws up egg whites. I love the books. I am following the series, love the casting, but the thing that has me interested are the BIG fat acting chops on Tobias Menzies. What a difficult thing he is pulling off-this double character that is similar but not. Somebody talk to him instead of leaving him hanging like a back drop at the back of the interview. Does anyone realize how hard what he is doing so well actually is? No disrespect to the rest of the actors but my kilt. . . Errr. . . Tam is off to him ( I guess girls don't wear kilts).
I so agree. I'm so tired of Tobias being sort of left out. I also have to say I could care less for the show now without Tobias, particularly as Black Jack. Part of the element of the story for me was how Black Jack is still out there and Jamie is still very heavily on BJR's mind. That scene when BJR comes riding into the hanging yard at Wentworth and his seeing Jamie is indicative of how important BJR was and still should be. Instead of moving it so far ahead to take Jamie and Claire to America, Gaboldon should have concentrated more on the dynamic with BLR, Jamie, and Claire. I wish sometimes the story was told in third person and not always from Claire's POV. That one episode in season one where Jamie was doing the voice over was refreshing. I wanted to have one from Jack's POV. But they underestimated Tobias' talent and Gaboldon was short sighted.
I agree. He's brilliant, the best performance in Outlander...

At first I thought the casting of Brianna didn´t seem right but now that I´ve seen the actors together, holy shit, Sam and Sophie have the same mouth, nose, mannerism, etc. NOW I SEE IT.

Yes to infinity and back. I'm absolutely obsessed with season one, particularly "Wentworth Prison" and "To Ransom A Man's Soul". I cannot stop watching these two episodes because of Tobias and Sam. I could really care less about Claire. I'm glad when Jack tosses her into that charnal pit. The chemistry between Tobias and Sam is just palpable. I love too how Tobias looks at Sam during the interview.

Tobias is the only actor here that didn't change his accent for the show. I love Clare's real accent, and Jamie's accent on the show. :) :)

1:48 Huh. That's odd. Diana Gabaldon accepted my parents' offer to take a boat ride with us several years ago (before the show was a thing), I think mostly just to see the town of New Bern from the water. Now, it was on the river, so the only waves she had to deal with were the wakes from other passing boats. Still, she never seemed the slightest bit bothered by them. When we got back to the dock, she came down from the flying bridge and she was just soaking with sweat from the late spring heat and humidity. I was like "Wow! Yeah, flannel shirt... probably not the best idea," and she just kinda smiled and shrugged.
She's a fairly quiet person. Didn't initiate much conversation (during those 2-3 hours), but she replied when directly addressed, unless the comment was rhetorical. My mom might've celeb-gushed a bit too much once or twice... and at one point, totally threw me under the bus when she mentioned that I'd started reading the first book but then stopped, low-key insulting her work on my behalf with her sitting right there looking at me. A very odd position to be put in. But Mom was on her second glass of wine, trying to keep the conversation going (and, as mentioned, a little awkwardly star-struck), so I just kinda let it go unanswered. I mean, what the hell do ya say?

Sorry that you think so. I can understand your point of view. Many women cannot reach climax by penetration alone but not all be sure! Many women, too, can.
