Got a Cub Cadet, same mower, just different brand name. I have the auto drive feature, no shifting. Works very well with the mulch plug, not so good on any kind of side slope, a little top heavy to be stable.

It does. That is because MTD owns Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Columbia, etc. There are slight differences/features between the lines, but they all share 95% of their DNA.

Absolutely not! Straight up and down the slope, maybe. Across the slope, no! Left rear wheel just spins.
I have one and when I go up a little hill, and I'm talking a little. I feel like this thing is going to flip over.
