There are games that have a gender lock and already come with characters with predefined classes and they can't be changed, only their appearance can be modified. Sorry, I don't know if you understand what I mean xD.
It's sad that the visual identity doesn't resemble Archeage at all, now it looks more like a generic Unreal game, the change may have been necessary, but Cryengine is missed, it's a shame it's been abandoned.

The hardcore mechanics is why it died in the west. It was unable to grow or attract new players because the barrier to participate in anything was too high. If you’re honeymooning about ArcheAge alpha or pre 3.0 then you never really played the game enough.

Even BDO is hyper pay to win but people still play it, because the barrier to entry is low and you can actually play the game. ArcheAge allowed guilds or groups of players to control the entire server and stop anyone else from gaining. It’s why I had so much fun being at the top but I am not oblivious to the fact that this gameplay made it impossible to welcome new players. I played from release until the very end. ArcheAge was the only mmo I will likely ever enjoy in my life but I’m not a frail honeymooner manipulated by nostalgia.
