Kearney woman accused of shooting and killing husband, released on bond

A man killed in a shooting in Kearney, Missouri, has been identified - his wife is facing charges. Ricky "Rick" Allen, 50, died June 18 in the 16200 block of Kountry Ridge Drive. His wife, Melissa I. Hoffner-Allen, 48, has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
