Hi! Unfortunately, if you don't have enough thread left at the bottom to tie knots in, it'll be difficult to finish. I think glue may be the only way - either glueing more thread onto the ends of threads so you can knot them, or adding glue to the back of the yarns/threads at the bottom to keep everything together. Could be messy though so be careful :) IF you happen to have a sewing machine and a matching thread, you could sew a couple of lines across the weaving at the bottom to keep it all in place. Sorry I can't be more help!

I've been doing minitures for awhile. I use a cork pot trivet I got from IKEA and push pins. :) It's a lot of fun!!
A cork trivet sounds ideal for mini weaving :)
