These tutorials are not produced by Reason, Reason contacted known Reason musicians and producers and asked if they would like to make videos showing how they use Reason. I think it's a good idea as We get to see all sorts.
Wow. One of the best Reason workflow demos I’ve seen. Very creative use of Reason and the players and LOVE you sampled your own loop and chopped it up.
this is also a fantastic demonstration of the power of Reason and the creative potential the Rack inspires. it would be a lot more complicated to get down like this in any other DAW. #facts
@@HOLLASOUNDS That doesn't mean it isn't dead. House (and most of Techno btw) is creatively dead. Listen to the overused-to-adnauseam canned sounds that are used in House, the uncreative structure, the way how the track here is put together like from a construction kit in five minutes says it all. Before you wonder, I've been quite active in the Techno scene all through the 90s when it was still fresh, creativity came from every corner of the world and the parties were just pure fun. The only people who still deal with Techno (and House) today are for the most part arrogant high society wannabes that dress in Gucci and sniff cocaine while DJ'ing their soulless crap at events where people couldn't care less about each other.
@@LordCritish Same for most music that becomes mainstream, including Hip Hip, Drum & Bass, Trance. You could say Hip Hop is dead and it is to Me because most of the stuff I hear on radio suck and the Rapper are wack but Rap ain't dead and Rappers I like are mostly unground and will never get radio play. Genuinely any music that goes mainstream is dead to Me because I dont want to listen to or make something that sounds like everyone else.
its very hot man...maybe just a little too mush of compression , we can ear it pump ,but some people like it anyway... .you give to me some new knowledge.. i work in reason since reason 1.0 in 2002 , i think and i just come to take the reason 12 so i pass from reason 5 to 12 and i have so mush things to learn and how use it....and i take also the ssl complete bundel and put it in reason so finish the master class compressor in reason...even if i have make miracle with the old reason , specialy with reason 2.0-3.0 with a computer with 1 processor of 2 ghz and maybe 1 gig of ram and at this time it was good computer P.C. setup.... but my very first begening with computer to make music was on a IBM with a processor pentium 1 or 2 of 266 - 32 mgb of ram in 1998-1999 with rebirth and at this time it was amazing to see work and ear the sound of 303- 808- 909 .... so , thanks for the tips , i will follow you now....
Yo, can anyone explain how my mans recorded the track directly to the sampler??? at 4:40? I mean right now what i do is export a loop and the import it in the sampler. can someone help please???
I posted a link showing how I do it, but it got deleted, lols. Basically, just use a spider audio to route your master out both to the usual channels 1&2 output and also your sampling input.
There a few ways to do this. One way is in the rack, rotate the rack, then open the Hardware Interface, then click on AUDIO I/O. Then open the Master Section and wire the CTRL ROOM OUT to the SAMPLING INPUT
Im not as enthused as everyone seems to be. To play those chords over a random generated bassline ,takes time and musical skill that most bedroom masters don't possess. Just another 4hr track made to look like it took 5 mins. Just Reason propaganda.
I don’t know that using tools is lazy. If you use a recipe book to help you cook a meal are you lazy? Not sure everything has to be so all or nothing. People can make music however they want. There are no rules. And there shouldn’t be any judgements. It’s all art.
Holy shit that was EPIC. CHEERS
We feel totally the same way!
The best video displayed in months.

Why sample disco for a track when you can make the disco first and sample yourself. Genius!
PLEASE MORE of French Touch Quarmat ❤❤❤

We agree! Absolute banger of a tune too!

Genius! I love when Reason is used on its own and with this kind of mastery!
Very Creative, ty for the tutorial!
Showing real value in Reasons latest devices, love the funky vibe, this sound never gets old.
Hate to rain on your parade but House in general died at the onset of the 2000s.
@@LordCritish What planet are you on? A 3rd of the new music on Radio1 and Kiss and Capital radio are House music.
@@LordCritish Dance music and house are very much alive on Radio.

Bardzo dobry materiał . Dziękuję 👏
Wow.
How did he sample his own song in Mimic? I cant do this. Its something to do with the soundcard?
You can also do it via rec source

You can also export a loop or entire song via edit menu and then just load audio file in mimic
@@raphaeldavis522 That's what I'd do.
Amazing 🤩 Loved it 😍
Gay French Disco Leather and Pornstar Mustache at the end was a nice touch.
Featuring Quarmat? There were so many plugins that you considered I got lost. You were fun to watch and listen too, however.
@12:44 He's a ventriloquist!
Is this player part of an update for Reason 12?
No
Only if you're a Reason+ subscriber...
Dissopointingly not.
I'd change the 1st BLG root note from E1 to F1. E1 feels dissonant.
I was thinking the same thing! Still, a fun video. Makes me wanna go make some faux daft punk 🤖

it sounds so flat and thin, run away from this software people
ReasonStudios is mostly generating lazy musicians who pay a lot but own nothing.
