I've been binging through this whole franchise the last few weeks and I can't believe no one recommended this anime to me before, it's been one heck of a ride and honestly I've had this opening stuck in my head on repeat
Preach, still hoping for more seasons but sadly we'll never know, i definetly recommend you eventually read the index novels and check the spinoff mangas :)
So that's where Index III's budget went, huh?
Together with Accel, that is. Not gonna complain though, because this part of Daihaseisai is going to be hype af, and seeing Touma and Gunha getting their share of action in this OP made me happy.
Index boring AF compared to Railgun
I wouldn’t say it’s boring compared to Railgun, but Railgun’s definitely better.
I don't think it was an issue of budget, I think it was resources spread thin, they were working on Index, Konosuba movie, Accelerator, Daimachi S2 and One Punch Man S2 at around the same time. Also I always felt the Railgun team was always better than Index. Also the fact that allegedly they sped through the arcs in S3 just so they get to the "best" one killed the pacing and story for me.

Even still, I think this is the most hype opening. I like some openings more, but this is the one that got me the most hype for an episode. That Touma and Gunha tag team do be hype.
What I love about this series is how all the shows just interlink into one gem of action and drama....

To be fair, going by what LN and manga readers have said, the underwolrd arc of Index III should've had its own fleshed out season instead of being condensed to... how many was it? 6-7-8 Episodes? 🤔 Oh well, yeah, more Touma proper action will definitely be welcome.

One high light from the Season was Kongo and her friends during that fight. I was glued to my seat. They arent Level 5s and on the surface their powers didnt seem powerful but they did it.

@@thewildcard600 The director of Index did actually his best. At the time where he made index 3 he already worked on other projects, one of them being a movie. On top of that Kadokawa fucking hates Index so they decide to make Index III 24 episodes and thanks to the director we still got 26 because he begged for more. And noone would want a Index 3 with 24 episodes....
Then there is also that he didn't had enough animators around him because JC was overworked af at the time, having 3-5 projects every season. I would say Nagai is a ok-ish director, while he does have some really good adaptations like Toradora, I think he failed with Railgun. The Railgun anime is making every character look very fluff and not really how they are in the manga, especially Saten.. His unnecessary filler also really hurts the anime sometimes. His adaptation of Sisters was pretty good tho. There is also that he only needs to work on only 2 arc's where the Index director has to work on 7 different arc's every season, that alone leads into a huge quality drop.

you know its sad when they put so much quality in railgun over index. its all kadokawa's fault for rushing JC staff to fit the last arc in smaller episodes and the director being busy with 2 anime films. thats just depressing how much they have to work with
They also wanted to wrap up the Index series to start fresh on the sequel New Testament
@@originalgaming6919 I'm glad they rushed it. I'm new to the series but Index seems to be way too huge to try and adapt it with anime cours. Wiki says it took 12 years for Index Season 1-3.
I would be dead before they even started to touch on GT if they would pace the anime slower.

I don't usually like shounen cliche characters, but Gunha's whole motive is so strong that he fires up my (long forgotten) shounen spirit, so him pumping his fists might be my favorite bit of the OP.
Yeah, he's the pure embodiment of a shounen cliche character but he's just so likable and you always root for him, definitely my favorite character I love him equally to Accel and that Junko x Gunha ship is great too

To aru Majutsu no Index qui est en quelque sorte l'histoire principal et qui à 3 saisons
To aru Kagaku no railgun, qui suis le personnage de Mikasa Mikoto et qui compte 3 saisons également (To aru Kagaku no Railgun - To aru Kagaku no Railgun S et enfin To aru Kagaku no Railgun T)

I have returned once again to listen to this great Opening of To Aru Kagaku No Railgun T and I am sure of one thing that FripSide and Maon Kurosaki are the best artists for the Toaru Majutsu Series.
Even though Maon Kurosaki passed away this year, on February 16 to be exact, she was a great singer for Toaru Majutsu No Index. I thank her for having heard me listen to his wonderful voice, rest in peace Maon Kurosaki 🙏

Hell yes it's great to see Railgun now have the same visual fidelity as index 3 and accelerator spinoff. Watching the old railguns and old indexes was always changing styles and clarity.
But more importantly, we finally get a proper reveal of the hottest esper with the ability with the most depraved potential, reflected in copious doujins!
Ive been watching this anime for years, i rewatch the available seasons every year and i onky now realise there in middle school, i always thought they were older and in high school.

From what I heard, we were supposed to see those in Index III when Touma's arm is ripped off by that villain whose name I already forgot _(oops! X,D)_ bt they didn't made it justice.
@@MrDibara His name was Fiamma, and yeah, I haven't read the Manga or LN, but season 3 had poor pacing and way too much information.
@@MrDibara I don't remember the dragons appearing in the WW3 arc in the LN. In the LN there was just said to be a invisible something. The dragon on itself doesn't appear often. Only as something invisible.
