- Chris Avellone is an American video game designer and comic book writer, known and loved universally for his pioneering work on industry tentpoles Planescape: Torment, Knights of the Old Republic and Fallout: New Vegas. He worked for Interplay and Obsidian Entertainment before becoming a freelance designer and writer.

Genius, love this guy - we need more views. I watch a lot of important podcasts and political stuff because things are cray cray as well all know but I am thankful to take a break with chris avellone who monocled the rpg genre with great storytelling. I'll never tire of listening to planscape torment development lore and his insights were fascinating. Also must repeat again how awesome if was of him to make star wars interesting for a guy that grew up with alan watts. Btw does roguey from the dex collect this type of intel, yes I think so but he focuses more on sawyer for some reason. that's just sick :)
God, it's really nice to see Chris again. I really hope he has rebounded from the previous couple of years.

Wow, thank you for this interview! I have been a fan of Chris' writing for decades, and it's incredible to see him in 2024 in the aftermath of recent events.
