Hi Bettina, what kind of Sport and exercises can I do? I want to stay active and I am really struggling by doing only soft exercises. Are squats ok? Thank you in advance for your feedback!
Yes you can. Just use a band or strap around your thighs to keep your legs no wider than hip distance. Walking is great and often relieves SI pain, but listening to your body is best. I know it’s frustrating but you’ll get back to your regular workouts soon!
Bettina Rae thank you so much! It’s really frustrating when you’re completely blocked because you don’t know what you can do and what not. I am often standing in the gym and have no clue what to do...of course upper body is not a problem but yoga for example...there are so many things that I should avoid and then my motivation is 👎🏽. Anyway...I try to stay active and find exercises which are ok 🙈
Thank you so much! I've been trying to open the hips for giving birth, but I guess I've been doing it too much!
I have the sharp stabbing pain, dull pain, and it's on both hips joint areas as well as the entire front of my groin.
That definitely sounds like SPD. I’d see a physio for some individual support.
