It is objectively his best skin, but I actually like the Empyrean one more cuz I dig the theme more. Ashen Knight is still close 2nd, though, with no doubt.
Considering the price to pay for it, I’d say that it’s justified being the best skin.
I think empyrean is still a good skin to follow it. I personally like neon colours and the sounds are quite nice

Ashen knight is still n1, and of course, it is a mythic after all, but Psyops and Empyrean, my God chills down the spine, blood moon is much calmer than I remembered, Sentinel sound too epic and mythic For pyke, I mean he's an assassin, a butcherer, so it doesn't t neither the skin nor the sound. And project, is just a bit too much IMO

Nothing beats the original. The way the violins do a stab equal to the number of characters killed is perfect. And the rhythm is JAWS like, it just drips with flavor.

i feel like empyrean, psyops and project feel so similar in the sense that is just "blast really loud dubstep" hopefully they go more unique approaches again like bloodmoon and ashen knight

Am I the only one who thinks that Ashen Knight skinline is inspired by Dark Souls 3?
Ashen Skin In general are Inspired from Souls and Elder ring. That's why I love all the skins Of this Line
no you are not, it was explicitly implied that the skinline goes hard on the darksouls elden ring bleak fantasy motif.
And then that inspiration completely fell off after pyke, the skinline genuinely ended so poorly after pyke, and its so easy to know why
Pyke was a combination of inspirstions, one being dancer and then the other being the abyss watchers (dark souls bosses)
Now what are sylas and pantheon based off? Nothing, the most they are based off is pyke himself nothing dark souls related (kind of depressing that riot couldnt possibly think of bosses to base skins off of considering you just have to slap the lord of cinder model on viego and name him "Ashen Lord Viego" to print money)

As someone who was a day 1 pyke main and has since stopped I don’t know how to feel about my champion being the new Lux
As a huge dark souls player who started maining pyke as a first champ to like 200000 point, this ashen knight is just a fkin gift
When I used to play before I took a big break, psyops were was fucking amazing, but wow the new skins are amazing too
Pyke and Senna keep winning this past 2 years the 2 of them was the new daugther and son of riot games(lux and ezreal in the past)

I played 2 summoners rift games yesterday for the first time in like a year or so. First match i played maokai support, got wrecked. Second played pyke support and i had a trolling/bot in mid lane and bot and me and the top laner popped off. I had 20 kills and a penta but we still love because our senna adc wasnt farming.. and ran it down. Never attacked minions, only champions 🤣 (I used the Ashen Pyke skin)
