Can’t wait to see your adventures on three wheels. My wife and I have a 2023 slr we just put a roof on it and led lights also the f1 mats. Our goal is to travel to the beach in Florida one weekend. I had a muscle car for 20 years. Sold it about 4 years ago and was missing a "toy". I was thinking about getting a bike but I'm 66 and not sure long term how that would work out for me. Started looking at the slingshots and found myself a nice 2 year old slingshot S with a 5 speed and my wife can drive it too. I think she likes it more than me. We're in Florida and we're planning a road trip to Tale of the Dragon. Life is short so have fun!!! Be safe out there and keep those videos coming!
I'm exactly where you were and are. Just can't ride 2-wheels anymore safely and thinking about a Slingshot. I had the same issue a few years ago and bought a Can-Am. Got better and missed being on 2, so bought a bagger. Now, 2 years later, I have aches and pains in my right foot and feel unsafe again. I've lost my 2-wheel mojo because the "what if?" weighs on my mind. I'm a new grandpa. My wife will not ride, even on a Can-Am anymore either. But she will ride and likely drive a Slingshot. But I sure do LOVE riding on 2 wheels. Very close to a decision.
