"I have craved the same opportunity"... How true and honest is that sentence. Shahid is definitely one of the most talented Bollywood actors, but he has always had to fight for good movies whereas other far less talented actors got brilliant opportunities so easily. How I like this guy and his honesty. All the best to you Shahid, always.
Shahid is the most criminally underrated actor.. his good performances are masked by slightly better performances of his costars 1. Jab we met- kareena hogged the limelight 2. Udta punjab - alia hogged the limelight 3.padmaavat-ranveer hogged the limelight I still can't understand why A lister directors like slb and karan johar prefer ranveer and ranbir over him despite showing potential.. Still he survived in the industry 20 years maintaining a reasonably good position.. thats a remarkable achievement.
Yes I have ALWAYS FELT he's far more effortless and versatile than even Ranbir and Ranveer BUT STILL VERY UNDERRATED maybe because he choose bad scripts and projects or just had disappointing offers! Hope he delivers his BEST WORK and enters his BEST PHASE yet in the next decade!
@@nikitamohan3390 I don't know why but all Karan Johars and Rohit Shetteys want to promote RK and RS. like KJo is trying so hard to show off RS as new SRk with RARKPK and Farhan Akhtar replaced SRK with RS. and RS looks so sadak chap. at least RS looks a bit classy 🤷♀

It's always so CEREBRAL to listen to Shahid and Hrithik . They both are quite similar in some ways. Wish to see them collaborate some day. Such an engaging interview.
The interview is so beautifully done..the way Shahid answered every question is so informative and to be taken inspiration from..it has an hour of therapy for me..
He is a self made man inspite of born to brilliant parents...his journey is so relatable with so many ppl around with hard work... determination... commitment.. resilience and patience.. really wish him well for all his future work.
It's always such a pleasure to listen to him, so enriching, so much to learn from him and the way he explains his experiences and thoughts, been a fan for 19-20 years, 20 more to go, and then 20 more...!!!
He is so authentic and genuine! He never talks so highly about himself unlike Ranveer Singh! Self praise is the worst quality in a person but Shahid is so humble and sweet. Best actor we have in Bollywood. I have loved all his movies post Kaminey.
He’s become very articulate and surprisingly smart in his choices without much support… to think he saw potential in jab we met and made kareenas career

Brilliant interview, genuinely loved it, worth the hour & 8 mins. It's so good to see how Shahid has evolved both as an actor as well as an individual (intellectually & emotionally), got to learn quite a lot from this interview (seems like one that'll be worth revisiting time & again too). Have to say that this is pretty quickly becoming one of my favourite shows from FC, please keep it going and thanks for the amazing content.
Great interview! He is immensely talented as an actor and dancer, he is also such an intelligent and mature person. I always enjoy watching him talk as much as I enjoy watching him act in movies and series. Respect!
Yeah man he was robbed in that film because of the editing the scenes featuring Ranveer were added into the screenplay in such a way that he got more screentime no doubt he nailed the character of Alauddin Khilji but Shahid's performance was also on a different level 🔥
He himself knows that he deserved better than some of his peers. That’s why sometimes he comes across as bitter or arrogant. But since he wasn’t a chamcha or came from an influential royal family, he has had to struggle harder than other insiders. Shahid is a SECOND GENERATION ACTOR not a STAR KID. His father was a character actor who was mostly out of work during his marriage with Shahid’s mother. A Star Kid is someone who is the son of a Star who has had movies run to due to their star power. Sunny, Bobby, Ranbir, Tiger, Aryan are Star kids
Splendid conversation! So mature, wise, grounded, and 'refreshing interview....Shahid you are THE Priceless Gem_ humble human being _ ace performer_ an incredible inspiration

Farzi is the only Indian series on Prime Video that I've seen from start to almost finished. There's a lot to choose from on there and so little time to commit but the minute I got into the first few minutes of Farzi, I kept going back, every night, just before bed.
Shahid never gets credit for how eloquent he is. He reminds me of Aamir - they're good listeners. He just answers the questions with such clarity of thought. I find most other actors waffle on a bit and don't even answer the question asked. Could listen to Shahid for hours.
You can see how influenced he is by Aamir in most of his interviews….. he talks about Aamir or references something about Aamir in most of his interviews I have watched
Such a fun breezy interview! Never knew Shahid gained so much clarity after all his ups and downs.. he seemed to have worked on keeping a good perspective. Yeh Javed aur Danny logon ko side hata , cos we're rooting for the one only Rajiiiv Marhurr!
So he accidentally start talking about him being spiritual and the moment he realizes it he doesn’t want to talk about it and I like the way he change the topic.
Shahid has matured enuf , evolved, has great clarity towards life, cinema & people. Recently liked him in Farzi series. Liked him in Kabir Singh though it was over the top. He should be casted for a Dance movie.. Recently completed watching series How to get away with murder on Netflix & it just clicked Shahid will be good playing law student Connors character, complex , messed up yet honest guy.

I remember the Koffee with Karan episode Shahid had graced with his brother Ishaan and he had just lashed out about less screen time. Even I share this giew that Shahid Kapoor was brilliant in the movie. His acting as a Rajput was mellow yet refreshing, restrained yet confident and so calming all at the same time. The scene where he confronts Allauddin after being released from confinement by Padmaavati is stellar.
