Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to share your knowledge and wisdom with women such as myself. I appreciate you. Keep going. We need you. Be Blessed.
I got mines today from Ulta beauty it was $14 I got the last one, I hope 🤞🏾 it works for me an my daughter hair…
What tool were you using to clean the tangle teezer. I have a very difficult time cleaning mine.
MO YOU REALLY CHANGED MY FOR THE BETTER! Your entire line saved my hair. Less shedding, less damage, definition. I prefer “ wash n sets” and it was made possible with your tutorials and products! Your curl smoothing pudding is IT!
Yay!! 💜🎉
Revisiting these oldies but goodies. Thanks for all this FREE LICENSED advice Mo. ❤
Thanks for your "back to basics" approach to hair care. It seems that everyone is making natural hair care more complicated than it has to be.
As someone with type 4 hair I can definitely say that tangle teezer in general has made such a difference for me and I can tell the weeks I don’t use it
I use a denman brush. Definitely helps with my roots. Before someone told me about this brush my roots were puff and rough. Now it curls like the ends of my hair 😁. Denman doesn't help at all with styling for me like other people swears by, but hey, at least it detangles.
It's a love n staple for me!!
I can say with all certainty that INCORRECTLY detangling my hair over the past 10 years has lead to hair lose breakage and damaged hair. Since doing it CORRECTLY my hair has retained 3 inches of growth these past 3 years.
Thanks for this video IT MATTERS. 😀
These are great tips! Detangling should never take too long. My whole wash and set routine, including deep conditioning, can be done in under an hour. For reference, I have dense, kinky-coily, full mid-back length hair. It can be done!
I have type 4b hair and using your other hand as Mo says to keep tension in the hair while detangling also helps. Don’t let the hair go and curl back on itself before you’re done detangling. After following Mo’s tips I have ended up with a streamlined wash day process that I consistently do once a week and my hair is flourishing!
I ran out and got the tangle teezer yesterday after watching your video. Detangling has never been easier... I have 3c 4a hair. Literally always take me an 1 hour minimum. I shaved and washed my hair all in 40 mins yesterday!
Omg I've been having SUCH a difficult past few weeks detangling my hair, I really needed this video 😭
I absolutely love how your background music is consistent!
I've missed you. Your voice is so soothing and I learn (and relearn) so easily from your videos.
I have coily hair and its a fight to the finish, I enjoy though, I remember you saying that your conditioner shouldn't look like cake batter on your head 😅 so I make sure I work my conditioner into my hair, and I notice that I don't use a lot of product 😊
Your hair is beautiful!
Omg you busted the gorgeous hair out on us at the end🤣💜💜💜
Your hair is gorgeous! I have been using the detangling brush for over a year. It's a game changer and imo no other brush compares and I've tried them all. I reccomend it to everyone with curly hair.
One of the ways I know my hair is actually clean is when it detangles easily. That product buildup will make detangling a nightmare.
Yes!
Trimming the hair consistently also helps me out with my detangling. If I go too long without trimming, it will take me hours to detangle my hair.
This was a really good teaching video! Thanks, Mo! 👏🏼
My daughter's hair is super thick. She has a combination from 3A-4A. When her hair started to get longer, I detangled with a shower comb (took about 40 minutes) and globs of hair would come out, so we switched to a Denman 9-row. Yes, less hair came out, but still way too much. A friend told me about the tangle teezer and we've been using it ever since. Less than 10 minutes, barely any hair comes out and she no longer fusses on wash day.
Love you MO! Thanks for sharing these tips with us. It shows us how to love our hair 😍💕
Thank you so very much!!!! Got the notification and everything had to stop to check out your video!!! Keep them coming!!!! ❤ ❤ Much needed info. for curly girls ❤
Once again I learned something new. Thank you Mo!
Thanks for more information Mo!!! Hope all is well!!!
Very helpful. Thanks Mo!
Thanks Mo , your the best!!😊 and that hair is beautiful as always 💕💕💕
Thanks for the tips, Mo, especially using a detangling tool! I need a detangling tool.
We love and thank you Mo!
Great vid as usual! I was surprised regular trims wasn't listed in the detangling tips, that's what really changed the game for me
Mo you ALWAYS come thru in the clutch! I've been looking for a new detangling tool and I know if you recommend it its a goody lol!
👋 Mo from Cali 😊. Thanks for the tips, very useful. Your hair has gotten so long and looks very Healthy and beautiful. Thanks Mo. Have blessed weekend
omg you’re an angel! detangling has been a nightmare lately 😭🙏🏽
Mo out here making me want to rock a wash & go!! It’s been several months since I’ve rocked one!
This video is so inspiring because I aspire to make my wash day one hour too. You should do a video of your wash day in real time - I think that would be so cool!
Your hair is literally perfect. WOW sis 😍
Thanks Mo! 😘❤️
Love your curls! 💐🌹
Geesh! You hair has truly grownnnnnnnnn!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
🙋🏾♀️Thanks sis....I've been watching you for years..your always on point and educational ..thanks for sharing ...ky
I finally bought myself a detangling brush and yes it is worth it.
OMG you are gorgeous!!! I SUBSCRIBED!
Thanks Mo 😍🙌💯
Im learning so much
Absolutely beautiful
I noticed that the better my cleanser is, the better my detangling session is following cleansing. I love your clarifying shampoo, as well as Shampoos from Aveda and the Mane Choice
I definitely will be giving your tips a try, as I am one of those who spends hours in the shower just trying to de-tangle my hair.
Oh no! It shouldn't take that long... I hope the tips help you make some adjustments!
🙆🏿♀️🙆🏿♀️🙆🏿♀️why? My routine takes 2hours or less except I'm braiding or three strands twisting.
Your hair is so pretty and long!
I literally threw away all of my hair tools and replaced them with the ones you recommended in your tools video.. GAME CHANGER! That tangle teezer and the denman boar bristle brushes have changed my hair styling experience!
I miss you Mo I need more videos!!
Great tips.
Great information my hair tangles and knots up so bad after washing especially the center portion I gotta get that brush
Right on time, Mo! I’m going swimming this weekend and as soon as I come back, it’s wash day 😓
🥰💙💕.thanks for these tips Mo
Thank you so much for the advice. Since, I have been using shampoo my hair has not been breaking so much. My hair has grown so much fuller and healthier. I have tear of joy because my hair pass my armpits now, with fullness! 😁😁😁😁
Wash day is coming up soon, I'm gonna try this
Beautiful hair 😍
Mo I just love you… you’re my bff and personal hair stylist in my head…thank you for this video but it’s about 10 years late lol 😆 i have so much breakage now from doing it wrong for so long.
Beautiful hair.
Would love to see a detangling video on dense, fine, tightly coiled hair.
Take a look through my MoKnowsHair collection playlist…. I detangle every hair type the same way 💜
You dont have to convince me I can look at your hair and see the material is a beautiful and healthy
💜💜💜
Yes! That tangle tweezer cuts my detangling time down! I should have bought it a long time ago lol I think I’m using to much conditioner and I’m going to change that.
Thank you!
Please do a tutorial on this wash and go. 😻
All the facts 💯
Yay!!!💜💜💜
i detangle in the same way! so simple :D 10-15 mins
YAAAASSS❤❤❤
You’re hair is super healthy Mo! My hair is much shorter than yours (since I did a big chop) and I still have plenty of shedding. The thought of using that tangle teezer gives me anxiety 😟 I wash, detangle by section, and still plenty of shedding 😩 I did the big chop to aid with minimizing shedding and now I regret it.
Have you had a physical? Bloodwork for vitamin D, iron, thyroid? Excessive shedding (to the point of visible thinning) is usually a sign of internal health issues.
@@MoKnowsHair I actually need to get blood work done. And I have a sun allergy. So I’m sure lacking Vitamin D. I actually started taking vitamin D last week. And my hair actually isn’t thinning, but sheds a lot. After washing, conditioning and detangling, I normally experience shedding when applying product. Not sure why.
Thank you for replying and I so appreciate the knowledge you share. ❤️
As always, thank you for great instructional videos. But what about when you use a conditioner with protein that's only supposed to be in your hair for a few minutes and it takes longer than a few minutes to detangle your hair? For me, this is great information for when I use a moisturizing conditioner that doesn't contain protein. But when I use a conditioner that contains protein and I detangle for longer than the time the conditioner is supposed to be in my hair, I'm left with rough and kinda hard feeling hair because of the protein. Any suggestions? I have high porosity, medium density, mostly fine strands of tightly coily curly hair.
That tangle teezer brush hit different. I wish they had this when I first went natural.
Lol at detangling Olympics!!! I always think the same thing, what are people doing to their hair to make it SO tangled that it takes HOURS to detangle. I detangle with my shampoo and it literally takes me 5 - 10min 🤷🏾♀️. And yes, I have type 4 hair.
Thank you for the tips!!!!
💜💜
they may also be waiting a long time to wash their hair. the longer you wait the more shed hair you have and more shed hair gets tangled at the root. more detangling time as a result. they also may not be getting regular trims. it could be numerous things
@@kathleenadeshoga8415 yeah i wash my hair every 2 weeks and wear twists as my main style and detangling takes me a minute lol🤣
@@kathleenadeshoga8415 yes that makes sense!!!! The hair may be matted. I wash once a week because I exercise a lot. Sometimes twice if my scalp starts to itch during the week (mainly in the hot summer months). The more you moisturize the easier detangling is. Thanks for sharing that thought, didn't think that some may wait longer in-between washes.
@@apara2005 same, and my detangling is 10-15. Def matters how often you cleanse.
What leave-in conditioner did you use for this WnG??
Do recommend any particular detangling tool for people with fine hair?
Hey Mo! Been watching you for years and congratulations on your hair care line! Question: Do you only use your products or do you sometimes do a mix of others? I cut my hair last year and I want my waist length hair back! Just trying to see what you typically do. And what products of yours do you recommend for week to week usage?

I feel like tons of hair comes out if I wash before detangling; what am I doing wrong?
Detailing and shampooing is the hardest part for me. It seems like shampoos are too rough sometimes and it feels like when I rub my scalp it causes my tangles
Try my collection's cleansers. bit.ly/MKHCollection
@@MoKnowsHair I have the cowash. Its great. Never gives me problems. Thank you!
Mm, I feel ya! I’ve found that some shampoos strip my hair far too much, dry it out, and make the tangling much worse than it needs to be. It also meant I had to use extra product afterwards so my hair could recover.
I definitely don’t plan on going back to that one shampoo. XD
@@AhsokaJackson for me it was the creme of nature shampoo (the red bottle) never again. I use to use a rinse out conditioner before a deep conditioner just to help with the tangles.
It’s the earrings & bounce for me😍 Yes & hair tips are on point as usual. I put that finger detangling to rest (temporary insanity, 😂)& you have helped to affirm my decision🙂
Do you think this brush works as well as their wet ultimate detangler?
Oh was surprised to know I follow the same steps except I use double detangler wide tooth comb and wash my combs with antibacterial dish soap. Will definitely try a brush. Do I stll need to use an actual disinfectant?
Yes, barbicide is anti-viral as well and will not compromise the material of your tools. Watch “how to clean + disinfect your hair tools” on my channel
thank you for this video, what did you spray on the brush? was that alcohol?

My hair love's your hair line i have all of them, i cant wait to wash my hair today 😂😂😂

I wish I lived closer I would love for you to do my hair.
Hey! Loved this video! What did you spray on the detangling after you cleaned it?

Entonces no estoy entendiendo debo lavar mi cabello con agua tibia y mi champu
I detangle one a week on wash day I run my fingers through daily I have to wear my hair up or in a bun for work
I see you hoopmobb earrings! Lol. I do all of these except I have to start finger detangling before water hits my 4a hair, or it will seize up and knot. My stylist always makes me detangle prior to coming if I've been wearing twists (which is typically what I do. No wash and go for me). If she has to do it, that is extra!
That makes sense after having twists… guide some of the shed hair out beforehand!
Definitely don’t wait more than 2 weeks in between deranged either 😆
This makes a HUGE difference
What’s good for frizz? That can be used last 2 lock everything in?
Watch this - ua-cam.com/video/gTXQvLKanog/v-deo.html
After the conditioner, what did you put in your hair to get the end result? A lot was skipped to get that final look.
It’s been covered in several other videos: ua-cam.com/video/oSElsPEdB58/v-deo.html 💜
How should we disinfect our hair tools. I wash them with shampoo and water but does that actually disinfect?
Watch ua-cam.com/video/YV7gKXbXZFA/v-deo.html 💜
👍
Would you use this same method after taking down a protective style like twists or braids?
Def remove the shed hair before washing so it doesn’t lock up… glide it out with a wide tooth detangling comb and then cleanse.
@@MoKnowsHair should you wet the at all before going in with the comb?
What leave/in conditioner did you use for the WnG?
Read: MoKnowsHair.com/detangling
So if someone just took out braids they shouldn’t detangle before shampooing??
I wasn’t talking about braids. But yes, remove the shed hair first in that case.
2:48 Well come for us then 🤣🤣 The struggle is real to cut back on product usage..
I wonder does these steps apply when your taking down braids?
Remove the shed hair before shampooing with fingers or wide tooth comb.
@@MoKnowsHair thank you so much for replying….. taking down extensions this weekend!
